Komazawa
With the impending flooding in Norfolf/Suffolk/Kent etc, wouldn't be surprised to see this game cancelled. Fingers crossed it'll be ok. Guess we'll see tomorrow...

cider11
Sky news are practically predicting armageddon.Ipswich is inland though so it will be fine. Its not too far from a river though if the rivers flood it could be near to reaching the ground or called off as unsafe for people getting to and from the ground. bristolcityup
At least wait till we go 5-0 down then we'l tink about getting the ref to call the game off!
Eddie Hitler
It's 1953 all over again. Though that time because of a lack of phones/ TV people didn't know it was coming and lots died.First high tide 7am this morning. If there is extensive flooding the Ipswich game is likely to be called off because of the disruption even if it is high and dry. CiderJar
A non-Bristolian friend of mine has just warned me not to sing "I've got a brand new combine harvester" because I may end up marrying a Tractor girl. Instead I have plumped for this variant of "Where be that blackbird to?"Where be East Anglia to?I know where 'e be'E's gone under a gurt big tideAnd now 'e's in the seaNow 'e sees I and I sees 'eBeggared if 'e's not thinkingWith a gurt big stick we'll help 'em drownIpswich you're sinkingLa la la la la laHow's your father? havanatopia
East Anglia underwater?sounds dodgysounds more attractive. :noexpression: seriously though...Dolly...there is nothing to stop the water from the north sea rushing inland as far as Ipswich. However, sky news as usual overcook a potential disaster and, as we now know, it was fortunately a false alarm.

bristolcityup
In my thread about the score prediction I really wanted to say we would get thrashed cus I knew it would happen but I didnt want to upset our fans who are not so realistic about life in the championship so i opted for the 0-0 prediction.. The Enormous Turnip
I wasnt too confident going in to it, i predicted a 3-1 defeat.... but then i don't think many people would have thought 6-0Oh well, was going to to happen sometime, bring on Leicester.
