CHIPLEY RED
No.If we are going to try a youngster why not use our own talent and give the likes of Plummer a chance. However, at the moment having just signed 2 new attacking players and having won our last 2 games sitting 2nd in the league why would GJ risk a youngster. Tough on own youngsters but if there good enough they'll get there chance.
jambodinho
Good idea if you ask me. I don't know why we don't try loaning youth players from bigger clubs because it could result in a signing at the end. Plymouth loaned Ebanks Blake from Man Utd, West Brom loaned Ismael Miller from Man City, Stoke loaned Shawcross, Birmingham loaned Sebastian Larsson and they all turned into permanent deals in the end. formerly known as ivan
it has nothing to do with our academy.plummer may be as good as sturridge but sturridge has been given a chance for first team football in the prem and has looked decent, where as plummer has not yet had first team football, which is why i would go for sturridge. I don't think there's much shame in that.

Yes, yes, yes. Sturridge is a prodigeous talent who would blossom in a City team that plays the ball to feet. He could be the final piece in the jigsaw for us this season. Nice one, Formerly.
