What I did find amusing was the amount of lads behind the goal in your end that looked as if they had just raided the local charity shops bargain bin! Half of you looked as if you needed a good wash! Guest MaloneFM
... If your gay that is. Yes thats right gay people are funny. Very funny. I love to laugh at them as they amuse me with their antics around bottoms and 'shut that door' and all that. And what makes it funnier is that jesus hates them as well. And fat people. They are funny as well. Not sure if jesus hates them as much but oh deary me what if a fat man with a PINK SHIRT on went to football? Goodness what larks! Hands up all those that miss shouting at the dark people. That many? Good gracious! :noexpression:

Guest MaloneFM
Nnnnnoot really Terence as it will provide hours of top comedy moments and invoke comments like 'we we're all shouting BLACK BUM BOY! And watch out for the bum boy in the pink, who is a bit on the black side-and it was brilliant!' As we all know homosexuals have to advertise the fact by wearing pink. How would anyone know otherwise and think of the top drawer abuse they may be missing out on.

Can I ask how do you know he was gay? Bit of a stereotype really. And even if he is gay, are you suggesting that it is fine to abuse him because of it? I joined in with the singing, it was funny at the time, but there would be absolute uproar if it had been a black man we were abusing.... What makes it right to abuse someone over their presumed sexuality? Remember the threads on here when certain people sang "rather be a **** than a taffy"? Surely if its ok to abuse a gay guy, then there'll be no problem if someone picks on the funniest looking black man at the next away game? I get the impression from this site that its ok to abuse gays, its ok to sing about Aberfan, but not ok to be rascist? Surely they should all be treated the same, and riddiculed. Guest MaloneFM
Marcus, come sit at uncles knee a while. You see once upon a time, in the seventies, it was the height of comedy and the pantheon of wit to assume that anyone wearing pink was indeed a homosexual and therefore wide open to all kinds of ridicule. In the same era it was widely spread about that black people did indeed live in trees and eat bananas and all spoke like Jim Davidson. How we laughed at Chalky. How we don't anymore. Asians whether they came from Pakistan or not were referred to as though they did. How we laughed at Mind Your Language. But not often. But times change. The world moves on. Should we for example sign a player from Germany wouldn't it seem more than a little odd if he were barracked by opposition supporters suggesting that he fought in a war that ended 60 years ago? What if yesterday Cardiff threw bananas at Dele Adobola? All the self rightious would have a field day! I'd just think that it was done against John Barnes years ago and was a bloody poor idea then. Remember the Spanish with the blacked up faces supposidly insulting Lewis Hamilton? Bit radical wasn't it? Or just a very poor attempt which should has gallons of urine taken out of all concerned. So the point is not so much that it shouldn't be done as it causes offence. I don't agree with that at all as the subject of this abuse usually laughs it all off like the Germans did at the last world cup with the Dambuster references. But the battle for the moral high ground becomes very savage in all the tabloids. I am all for banter but stuff that was relevant 30 years ago or longer? The Aberfan disaster that those who chant it have no idea what happened because they weren't even born? References to closed pits? Its a bit like spouting off a few Max Miller jokes and old music hall numbers as abuse. If what passes as banter is a few third rate Carry On jibes isn't it all just a bit shameful if thats the best anyone can think of?

Now stop being such a gay and accept it for what it is. Get over it, its a part of life. Pink = Gay = funny as. You probably weren't even there, or you are a gay.
