Sheff Utd And Stoke Tickets

Why do they insist on putting tickets on sale in the middle of the week?

For those of us working 9 to 5 that cant really afford to sit on the phone for an hour in a queue (ive had position 18 and 20 so far) how are we meant to get tickets?

No doubt they will both be sold out by Saturday, and if they arent itll be the usual ######### at 2.45 who go and buy about 10 tickets for 3/4 games all at once and hold the queue up for ages.

Why the tickets cant go on sale say midday on a friday, give people chance to phone then, but also give the opportunity that they wont be sold out by Saturday.

I will be very surprised if there are any tickets left on Saturday for these two games, and having a 30 mile drive to Bristol its going to be tough to get them

But I'm sure theyll be a few hundred who bought a half season ticket JUST to guarentee there place at Preston/ticket next season if we go up, who have jumped on the bandwagon and will get there tickets for Stoke.

As usual, ticket office seems very short staffed for what was obviously going to be high demand....

Tried at 10.30 this morning and was queue position 40. Just tried again and was number 1 ! Bad news - was warned that could be long queues for collecting the tickets on Saturday.

Thats odd, thought they only had 20 queue positions then you just get cut off
