Guest Ixion
D'Urso has apparently, dispensed 70 yellow and 5 red cards in 29 matches this season and that looks about par for the course when compared to other refs. Also broken down as: 11 home wins, 6 draws and 12 away wins when he has officiated.
Admin Maesknoll Red Posted March 27, 2008 Admin Share Posted March 27, 2008 Andy D'Urso http://www.soccerbase.com/refs2.sd?refid=1...mp;seasonid=137 He last Reffed us at Brentford in the league cup this season and the season before he took charge at the sags tip, in the paint pot trophy.... si_aston
I can't be alone in thinking D'Urso was absolutely dreadful today. It was hard enough playing against 11, but we ended up against 12. Moaning about refs is something I try to avoid, but can't right now. Gave Dele absolutely nothing all game, gave every "six of one..." against him, and even blatant pushes/shirt pulls by the Norwich centre backs went unpunished. One particular incident sticking in my mind is Carey's booking. He took the ball, didn't he? Thought it was quite clear. Anyway, it's a forgivable mistake if he gives a foul, but the only reason he can have booked Carey is if he backchatted. But a bit later in the half a Norwich player went, literally, mental in his face after he didn't get a throw. He also didn't get a booking. Consistency didn't exist in the game, but neither did fair refereeing anyway. Top of the league though... dreamland!
Guest rossjonesuk
Absolutely God Awful!! One of the worst I have seen this season... but hey, Premier League Refs are generally alot better!!!!
fka dagest
Didn't think he was that bad to be honest. You expect a couple of mistakes from all refs.
bucksred
The ref was bloody awful. Glad he wont officiate any of our remaining games. hopefully he'll take charge of one WBA, and one Sjoke game.

Guest
Awful as always... but if he wasn't so awful he might not have given us a f/k for a handball by McCombe!

Guest red-or-dead
I actually had no problems with D'urso today. I thought even though he got a few decisions wrong he did try to allow the game to flow, especially on a slippery pitch where players were losing their footing and many lesser refs would have been blowing up left right and centre. Sorry! I disagree, He blew up at least 3 times 2nd have when we had possesion going forward. -IMO He was no worse/better than any other refs we get. mutley147
I think D'Urso had a very mixed game. In the first half I thought he had a brilliant game and let things flow. I even commented to one of my friends at how it was nice to have a good referee for a change to which he agreed. Yet the moment he came out for the second half it completely changed as if we had a different referee. Where he'd allow play to flow before he now stopped play a lot and made some very frustrating decisions. Maybe Roeder had a word with him at half time?
