Super Scotty Murray
Love the way he blames the ref for giving us a free kick 60 yards from goal as the reason they lost the game. Would you not be more annoyed at your own defenders who failed to clear the ball twice for the winner. All he did was berate the 4th official for the entire game. These ex-prem managers need to be put down a couple of pegs because they seem to think that they should get some special treatment from officials and say what the hell they like. Just like to point out Mr Roeder, that your goal was from a throw in that was given the wrong way, oh, failed to see that one then! Yet another manager who doesn't seem to want to give us the credit we deserve, Norwich played well today but it is our team spirit and dogedness that has got us top of the league again and hopefully we can stay there. 94th Minute
From the BBC site: "The referee has made a big mistake in judging that the wrong hand touched the ball. "Even the fourth official said it was clearly a Bristol player but added that there was nothing that he could do about it. "With luck like that, Bristol are certainties to reach the Premier League - yet we outplayed them from start to finish. "The problem is that referees are not accountable for such errors. My players have given everything, produced some excellent football and have nothing to show for it." 3 out of 4 comments complaining about the officials, one showing great grace in defeat; and people wonder why players give the officials no respect... If you want the player to be able to stay in control during the game, when they will make stupid mistakes, and confront referees, you've got to stamp out behaviour like this from the managers. I think the FA need to make an example of one manager who constantly does this; might actually make a differance in cleaning up the game.

Drew Peacock
Don't worry about it, just look at Rodent's record. He'd do well to remember that Norwich's goal came as a result of a wrongly awarded throw in to them.... Hmm, file it in the "these things even themselves out" bin alongside Kuqi's handball that led much more directly to Palace's goal in a match tha cost us 2pts. And yes we didn't defend a wrongly-awarded throw any better than they defended a free kick from our own half. Take the points to the bank and move on. Afterthought I wonder how impressed Roeder was with Chav Evans' viloent conduct (stamping on Orr's foot) around the 80th minute? The ref didn't see it, perhaps the cameras did? We were clearly the better side in the first half, although I'll grant Roeder that we struggled in the 2nd. The lack of LJ was clearly troubling us in the 2nd. Olé
All he did was berate the 4th official for the entire game. These ex-prem managers need to be put down a couple of pegs because they seem to think that they should get some special treatment from officials and say what the hell they like. Absolutely spot on. Everytime we get a Premier League ref and an ex-Premier League manager the latter seems to think the former owes him one, old pals society and all that. D'Urso was useless to us as well and it is extremely irritating to see someone like Glen Roeder adopt the Premier League boy done wrong sob story and pretend that plucky City have somehow cheated him of his rightful role as manager to the division's successful winning side. It couldn't possibly be that Roeder is a crap manager who has never won anything now, could it? Given GJ's diplomatic tone on all things ref related, I'd prefer a sport where *no one* can talk about the ref because its getting beyond a joke. People like Roeder are able to come out and hang the ref out to dry without any honesty or even handedness. Soundbites carry weight yet he won't mention that Ritgers dived about the place for 10 minutes and should have been booked. Everything is so very convenient when these never-has-been's start talking, you'd think Norwich floated in with angels and had been mugged by us, heaven forbid that the ref may actually have done anything that helped them, as seemed to be the case from my view. What about Huckerby deliberately punting a second ball onto the pitch late on seeing full well Basso was kicking one. Between that and Ritgers half-pikes, Norwich specifically cheated, there are no two ways about it, and to stand up after trying to cheat and start singling out the ref shows a complete lack of class and total hypocrisy. Glass houses and all that. I'd rather support a Gary Johnson team on the Downs than any other club, just to have a manager who doesn't hide behind slating the ref. It's amazing how many truly bitter people our season has generated, are we embarrassing them all that much!!??
Whale Eye Beef Hooked
I will actually appluad them ... i thought that they played good football on the floor when we have been used to seeing whhhooosh football fron the likes of Watford, Palace, stoke etc. Apart from a couple of dives and a couple of little niggles i thought that they were an ok team. In the balance of things you can see why they were upset at the late winner, they deserved a point with the chances that they had. As for the comment about roeders brain from an earlier post........ possibly out of order.....no need
Nibor
I wouldnt put Pardew in the same class, he hasnt been that annoying has he? Pardew was a ###### dirty cheating ****, I had respect for him until I saw his shameless cheating timewasting antics. Now I hope his thuggish long ball shite side get relegated next season and he gets fired and never works again. Roeder has a bit of sour grapes and overlooked his side's lucky goal but to be frank I'd be upset if City played away like Norwich did today and got nothing from it. Though a draw would have been a fair result if anything Norwich were the side more deserving of a win. Thankfully football doesn't work like that. Tunley Legend
Roeder is talking nonsense. According to BBC we had 55 % of the posession. Hard to outplay a team without being in posession of the ball.. The statistics are lying then. Second half, Norwich p1$$ed all over us for the most part. But what our team has that most of the bigger name clubs seem to lack is the balls to hang in there and keep going to the end. And we are reaping the rewards for that at the moment. Have a look at the photographs of Brooker's goal - look at Brooker and Otsemobor - who clearly wanted to get to that ball more? Answer - look at the Championship table in the Sunday papers (albeit the nationals will be full of lucky City propaganda!!). I think our confidence was shot to pieces once Norwich equalised yesterday and I have a feeling that the late goal by Brooker coupled with the top of the league position will see that return and lead to a much improved performance AND A WIN next Saturday. Alex_BCFC
They're 4 points from relegation with Sheff.Wed having 2 games in hand on them. They're almost as much in the mire as when he took over. Not really. When he came in I don't think they had even won a game and were on 8 points. That was in October. For them to be 4 points clear of relegation now and playing like they are is pretty good. Guest lobster
Roeder is normally pretty fair-minded but clearly lost the plot yesterday. Maybe frustrated at losing a game in which they were the better side. Instead of whingeing about a free kick that occurred in the opposition's half, he should instead be asking his defence why they couldn't defend a routine set piece in the last minute of a match. D'Urso should be regarded as incompetent rather than biased.

Kibs
The decisions evened themselves out in the end. He is just a moaning **** with a one sided view that Arsene Wenger would be proud of. How come they always fail to bring up the decisions that went in their favour? Rat faced little t***. I felt we should have got something from our previous two games and we got nothing. As somebody else said, we've seen some horrible teams come down here over the last month or so - Palace, Watford, Argyle (Just a personal thing) so it was nice to see a footballing side. In the first half they played on the counter, they attacked with pace and purpose and although I thought we edged it, they always looked dangerous. 2nd half I don't know what happened. We were under the cosh far too much and I was screaming for Brooker to be brought on long before he was. When he came on we had a goal threat - simple as that. Adebola is excellent with his back to goal. Brooker can play with his back to goal, can make runs beyond the defenders and is prepared to SHOOT!! He is more mobile than Adebola and his movement gave us more options. Would love to see them both together.
