According to the Website - Injured.

He's been carrying the injury for weeks and his recent performances have shown, Skuse came in though and proved himself to be perfectly adequate replacement, getting MOM in the process.

Felt a bit sorry for Cole, as he's had a long wait for his chance, but he looked fit, fresh and had a good game, which gives good cause for optimisim for the remaining games,

On Radio Bristol on the way in an interview with GJ said that Marvin has been carrying a number of injuries for over a month. Principally his back which GJ thinks has (and Marvin admits this apparently according to GJ) affected his performances. Accordingly, he was rested.

It came across as a genuine rest as oppose dropped. I think GJ also said that Marvin has played 40 in a row or similar.

I saw him sat in the Williams.

Let's hope he can clear the niggles and get back to his glorious best.

Caller to Radio Bristol was sat next to Marvin, Byfield and Trundle in the Premier seating.

Apparently all 3 celebrated Brooker's winner wildly, like fans, a testament to the spirit in the squad.

I was told he has barely train over the last 4 weeks and I think it's showed made a mistake against Plymouth cost us a goal, dodgy takle at Baadiff pen conceeded. Still lets hope a week or two off and comes back as the Marvelous we all know.

He was simply superb for the first half of the season, but has been off colour lately. The lad deserves a break and hopefully he can shake off this back problem. I would have rested him today anyway as he has been struggling lately. I also saw him sat in the williams with Trundle, Wilson and Byfield, but did not see them celebrate the goal as I was busy asking the Norwich staff (who had wildly celebrated their goal before) sat 3 rows in front of us how they felt.
