tin
The first one wasn't a wonder save as Dion Dublin's header hit the bar. The second one was a good save though. Without doubt the most improved player of the season but not outright player of the season for me.

He proves week in week out what his peers have already voted on - best keeper outside the Prem . :Believe: :Believe: :Believe:

Guest jhowie11
Great Save, one of our most consistant players this year along with MM I think, both contenders for Player of the year. Also, Basso has become much more clever in his use of time. Recently he's been waiting for the forwards to approach him before picking it up, can't remember him doing that too much before...anyone else notice how he fooled Dublin by pretending to go pick up the ball then just stood there as DD turned away? The mans a Genius :Believe: Dunga, surely worth a call up by now?!
Nogbad the Bad
Well we're all wrong :D just watched highlights and he got nowhere near it, great header. Looked to me that he touched it onto the bar. Don't forget he has one strangely misshapen finger so even if it looks like his hand was too far away to have got a touch, it could well be that particular bent finger snaked out in a totally different direction to get the vital, miniscule connection to deflect the ball against the bar. Almost invisible to the eye, but I'm firmly convinced that is exactly what happened. GREAT SAVE BASSO
Guest Eamer
Just bought myself a 5 foot by 3 foot Brazil flag to take along to future games
Tom
Would be awesome to get a brazil flag but instead of the blue globe, Basso's head in blue in his famous looking up pose Me and my mate had a discussion who we thought was our most valuable player and Basso was a close second to Elliott the only reason being his age.
