greenun
All City stats from the season so far, featuring some real corkers in the 'goal time distribution' category. If, like me, you suffer from anoraksia nervosa, it's a must see. http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/teams/BristolCty.html
Ashcott Boy
Funny you posted that link, looking through it earlier and was going to post here. Most interesting stat for me is that when we have taken the lead we have only dropped 4 points all season.

Ashcott Boy
we also score alot just before full-time Saying that, i think a few of those 10 have actually been scored in injury time, which is even more exciting!
cheese
The telling one for me was where we have failed to score we haven't won a single game!! Come the end of the season that could make all the difference!!!!!!

MarcusX
The most interesting ive heard was last time we were on sky. The commentator mentioned something along the lines of, we have not lost a game at home where we have led at half time for about 6 years i think they said. If anyone can confirm this? If only we could perform in the first half more often! Fortress Ashton Gate in the Prem then
MarcusX
Also, only 2 teams have a better home record than us. Ipswich with 13 wins and 1 defeat and technically id say hull as they have only conceded 17 goals at home in 21 games. You could say the others have scored more but really, it doesnt matter how many you score as long as you keep the opposition out. We havent scored many but a 1-0 win is essentially just as good as a 5-0 win. Its funny that the top 4 teams are seperated by their away records. If stoke win their next home game then theyll have the same as us with 12 wins 6 draws and 3 defeats at home Cmon lads, i reckon 3 wins and a point at stoke will do it! gotta beat Wolves and Preston, Southampton are shambolic at the moment we cant lose that game and then a point from Stoke and anything from sheffield and we are up. Maybe its too much to EXPECT to win games, but when you are top of the league you should expect to win home games. It really is all in our hands

jellyred
I know its only statistics BUT if you look at the run in part it STILL has us top due to our form (even current form!) http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/runin.html
zookeeper
Is our improved fitness really telling with all of the goals that we've scored at the death or maybe the team performs bettwer when the dolman moaners have left!!
tin
The only record we've got that is top of the pile, asides from topping the league that is, is when we score first we win. 18 times we've done that, 17 we've won and 1 drawn. That's unbelievable!
Sir Colby-Tit
we also score alot just before full-time And one after full-time (according to Warnock)

But then I'd happily take that scenario!

If the team do indeed perform better when the Dolman moaners have left, and bearing in mind that statistic that says we always win when we score in the first half then perhaps now is the time for the Dolman moaners to do the right thing by the team by leaving 5 minutes before Half-time in future. Godzilla
The last time we lost a game we led at half-time (on ANY ground) was on 21st April 2001 when we lost 2-1 to Notts County having led 1-0 at half time thanks to a goal from Simon Clist. So, we've almost gone 7 years unbeaten when winning at half time now. Our actual record during this time is: WHT 105 Won 95 Drawn 10 Lost 0 Average Points Per Game 2.81 If we do get to the Prem, all we need to do is concentrate on leading each game at half time and we'll be on for winning the league with a record number of points! Incidently, the defeat mentioned above is the only time we've lost after leading at half time this century.
