Should The City Change Their Kit?

friends, whilst darning my socks earlier this evening i began to ponder about bristol city and our boys distinctive get up, and i came to the conclusion that it simply won't do when we reach the giddy heights of the Premier League division. a new look is therefore called for. what are your suggestions for the new bristol city kit that our boys must wear next season, when fighting alongside the rich and mighty?

a suggestion proposed itself to me just after i had finished threading the darning needle with yarn, and began making small vertical running stitches in the intact fabric of the sock 1/2 an inch to the left of the hole, when i remembered the group of blonde haired girls grooving to dj casper's 'cha cha slide' with considerable slinky skills at panache a few weeks earlier. i watched them for some time with quiet dignity and approval, and realised their clothes accentuated their slender physiques and seemed to give them better rythme and co-ordination on the dance floor, which must surely translate onto the football field. after 2 more vodka and redbulls i finally plucked up the courage to dance alongside them, but my flailing limbs and nervous glances seemed to intimidate them, and they started throwing ice cubes at me. but this is besides the point, i think our boys can learn alot from these girls style, and by wearing tight leather shorts with matching low cut tops revealing the players mid-drifts, this may well improve our players chances of getting to the ball before the opposition. they will be more wind resistent for one, rushing gracefully through heavy winds to receive the ball, as those in the opposition struggle to catch up, held back by their baggy shorts and shirts flapping behind them. amusingly, it wasn't until after having this very good idea that i realised i had made a bloomer. yes friends, believe it or not, but i had mistakenly purchased wool yarn to darn my socks instead of the required embroidery floss so essential for repairing the crew socks that i own. over to you dear friends.

Oh dear. One lucky win and the complacency is back. I don't mean anyone ill feeling, but cant help but squirm when I read posts assuming were promoted. Our automatic promotion is a big if because....our form currently is pretty poor, we have a difficult run in and 3 teams below us are very close. It seems bit like celebrating winning the World Cup, just before a penalty shoot out.

Now that City are top, I keep getting mates/colleagues telling me if they think we will/wont do it and the response is always the same - 'We'll see' (yet screaming on the inside)

Its great to dream and I do also, but talking as if its a done deal?? If we don't make it, there will be a number of people who will look back at their posts and say ooops, I wish I hadnt've written that.

Lets wait and see eh?

And how much room do they need to allow for all the gold stars we will amass by 2020?

I believe the official colour was champagne.

I would love to see the modern day Puma kit in Purple and green like in the mid 90's. That would look awesome

I thought that was the cider kit?!?!

Purple and green away kit would be awesome. As for the home kit...red!

What do we have to do to get Travis and Uncle Rog in the same room / chatroom together? Surely, their perpetual paragraphs of prosaic piffle would keep them entertained well into next season.

Alternatively, putting two such quipsters within pratfall distance of each other might create a shift in the time-space continuum, their inane ramblings causing a Higgs Boson and planet Earth would disappear up it's own Large Hadron Collider.

Best away kit ever . My first thoughts were oh no what the hell have they done . It quickly grew on me and who would of thought that two colours so opposite would go together . Still see the odd one now and again at the games and in old photo's .

If we get to the prem . we'll certainly be noticed but I'm sure plans for the new kits are well into the making stage ready for the sell whether in the prem or not .
