tin
Didn't think there was any train that got back into Bristol in time for this one???
goldengraham
The last train back is 8.07 pm tins. I was thinking about getting the train until i saw this, with the game not likely to finish until 7.20 and the old bill almost certain to keep us in the ground a while after that you'd have to be steve cram to get back and catch it i recon. Although if theres alot of city the old bill might hold the train up so they can get us out of town. The last thing they'd want would be hundreds of pissed up city fans marauding around the centre of stoke.

cheshire_red
You're right a night in Stoke itself is shocking. Hanley isn't much better but I can higly recommend Newcastle under Lyme (3 miles from Stoke), superb night out. Personally I'd avoid the train, you are met at the station and marched to the ground, if you're early they stick you in a pish poor pub next to the station before herding you to the ground well before KO. It's never even 2 miles, it's only a 20 minute walk along the canal to the ground. Not that Old Bill would take you that way!
