firstly, ok, i wasnt at the game today, but...

we are not going anywhere unless gary sorts out his team selection. the man is a legend and we would not be where we are today if it were not for him, but he is in real danger of blowing it!

murray is past it and noble hasnt produced all season bar the shef utd home game. we can kiss promotion good bye if they get selected again this season.

sproule is our right winger and is a threat even if not playing well. if gary feels the need to drop him then surely wilson is the natural replacement. murray is way past his best and this is not time for sentiment.

and as for noble starting ahead of brooker, WTF!!! brooker was on fire at cheltenham, comes back has a goal ruled out against cardiff, scores the winner against norwich, and still finds himself on the bench! nobes is probably one of the most gifted players at the club, but is also the most unfit and has not produced all season. he shouldnt even be on the bench!

come on gary, stop playing silly buggers and pick the team how it should be!

Noble was quality at the start of the season, and we've got where we are playing 4-5-1. Take your point about Murray - I'd have gone with Wilson to give Sproule a much needed kick up the arse.

noble missed much of the beginning of the season, then started against shef utd and played well. ever since he has produced nothing.

i think sproule has had his kick up the backside by the way he played after coming on against norwich. ran rings round them and done more in the short space he was on than murray did the whole game.

don't think its any surprise when we played much better in the 2nd half with brooker and sproule on the pitch!

Umm, Murray had our only shot on target didn't he? Again Sproule delivered jacks**t (actually thinking about it, the team delivered jacks**t especially Gary Johnson)

i think u could tell it was not going to go well when gj nearly popped a vein with anger within the first 3 mins i think he was telling Boom-Boom to use his head to clear the ball not his feet, anyone else see that?

Were you at the game?! OK, Murray may have had our only shot on target but apart from that he did nothing and Sproule gave us much more! (well not that much, it was still a dire performance)

I wasn't too fussed about team selection to be honest. It doesn't matter if two or three players are the wrong choices if the other eight or nine don't turn up (save Basso).

Also didn't think the ref turned up today. Got nothing out of him except the most blatant barges, body-checks and clatterings, while he gave Southampton the most laughable decisions at times.

I'd agree with that. GJ has 'stuck with the winning team'... but when that team won despite being outplayed for most of the game - at home - surely at least some fine tuning??

I am one of Nobles biggest fans and think he has the brain to unlock even the best defences, but with a lack of 1st team play this season and the desperation for points now is not the time to test his Championship pedigree!

Agreed, was wondering where Noble was for long periods of the season and then suddenly he appears from nowhere for the las two games

The ref today was a complete joke, Adebola's yellow was right in front of where I was sat and all the saint fans around me were giving the ref abuse saying that it in no way could be a yellow card and he didnt know what he was doing.

saying that though Bradly did hand ball to push the ball out of play and it was so clear I was amazed they didnt get the penalty.

Yep, I was at the game, I'm just commenting that Murray done ONE thing better than the rest of the team, and no matter how much we big up Sproule, there is still no end product from him.
