dezgimed
I think I may have? My dad isnt into football, only listens to 5live and watches MOTD on a Sat. My older brother watched City occasionally when he was younger but has now drifted away from it.. So I took the decision upon myself to just suddenly start supporting, which my younger brother soon followed. As far as I know I'm the only 'proper' football fan in my entire family, and as far as I'm concerned, my future kids (touch wood) will be City fans too.... And so forth it spreads... Quite proud of that!

Guest MightyRed
Took 4 mates to the Boro away leg last season as it was near uni. Now have 4 people who consider BCFC to be their second team, and always look for their results. Does that count? They don't actually come to games. cider11
I was first one in our family to support city, as dads peterborough fan but got tickets from work to watch city when lived down in WSM. Since then been hooked for last 14 seasons. Hopefully continue it on from me now to any kids in future. I bet my dad wishes hadnt got them tickets now with living 180 miles away from Bristol. At school when i was still there i got my leisure studies teacher to adopt us as a 2nd team as went on about us that much, his first team is Plymouth. A bournemouth fan got singing our songs in 6th form. few others probably more aware about us than would've been normally. I went to Tallinn last week and even got my cardiff supporting mate into singing Johnson says bounce around the ground.
si_aston
Took my Millwall-supporting mate at Reading Uni to the Charlton away game the other week. Since then he's wanted to come to home and away games, and is even getting a season ticket in the East End for next season! Hooked by the crowd that night, and I think I'd struggle to find anyone who wouldn't have been!
Guest DanC
When I started at my work 2 years ago no one really cared about City, Now then know nearly everything about us and when I go back in on a Tuesday they always know our score and who scored etc. I'm also the first one in my family to be a proper football supporter and now they all follow City as well. SimplyRed
Well I didn't start the fanbase, but my Dad had 3 brothers and a sister, while my Mum had 2 brothers and a sister and, apart from my Dad and one of his brothers, they were all Gas! And lived in Bedminster! So I guess I should thank my Dad and consider myself extremely lucky, because all my cousins - except one - are Gas too! Poor souls!
