dezgimed
Purple patches cant last forever. We'll win, according to home form V away form and position...
cidercity1987
Certainly is a big game for both teams and if you win I'd wager you'll finish above us. Ebanks-Blake didn't look all that when we played against Plymouth but maybe playing with better players has helped him and we could definitely do with someone like him up front. We might aswell let West Brom get on with winning the league then 3 wins from 4 should be enough to secure an automatic place. Is that much talk up there of Wolves staging a late push for automatic? As darkhorses 77 (5 wins and a draw), or 79 (6 wins) points could do it for you. How do you rate your chances this week? We definitely need to find some form again, and that means knocking the ball about with confidence and having 2 on song wingers doing their job. Half our problem lately has been over reliance on lumping it up to Adebola, McIndoe roaming too much and Sproule not putting in any threatening crosses. If we can sort that I suspect we'll win but I'd take a 1-1 right now. As you say, a win for us and we'll be looking at automatic, a draw will just about secure a play off spot but nothing else and if we lose we could be in trouble regarding even reaching the play offs. It'll be a good game and hopefully a cracking atmosphere.

tin
Nothing but a win will do for us otherwise it's a scrap for position's in the play-off's for us. It is as simple as that.

I beg to differ on that. I've seen the future and we can get promoted with just 5 more points! see below, I'm off down the bookies. Chappers
The way that the top teams are performing, you may well sneak automatic. I totally agree about West Brom (Although they now have the Curse of Top Spot to contend with!). City are badly mis-firing, struggling to score, look a bit jaded, and have 4 very tough games. Stoke have some decent strikers, but don't seem to have much width and play hoof-ball, and as Palace proved, can be contained. watford also hoof it a lot, but have little quality up front. That leaves Hull who look the best balanced of the chasing pack, play decent footballand crucially, are scoring goals. Wolves may have left it late, but if you can beat us (And your last 2 visits have ended 1-5 and 1-6!) and West Brom, you could just sneak through into 2nd place, as your last 4 games are winnable, well as much as any games in this Division are. Horrible thought, WBA and Hull go up, and Wolves have a poor finish. That leaves us in the Play Offs with Stoke, Watford and Palace - WHOOOOSSSHHHH. Chappers
West Brom 82 Bristol City 75 Hull 74 Watford 74 Stoke 74 Wolverhampton 72 Ipswich 69 Crystal Palace 68 Charlton 66 And if we lose to Wolves by a greater margin than we beat Preston, we will be automatically promoted with a negative goal difference! How cool is that? Let's go for it!!!
Will Rollason
Hello Wolfie. Are the fans ok with "Big" Mick Mc Carthy or is he walking a tightrope a la Tony Clueless ( Stokies want his blood)? As for Sat well we've being saying for weeks that such and such a game will define our season but i truly think this one will. Win and we're in with a sniff of the auto spot ( Baggies to go up for me). lose and we're looking over our shoulders and worrying about a pray off place. Obviously, If you'd have offered us a pray off place before the season then most would have snapped your hand off but we've been top or around top for so long now, not going up auto almost feels like a failure which , i know, is nonsense really.. Anyway, apart from sat ( i was there the last time we played you at the gate :sofa: and i aint forgotten the shame) good luck for the run in.
