Guest LittleMissVicky
I'm so disappointed at the lack of atmosphere (Williams stand block d)yesterday! I was wondering at some point if i was actually at a football game- more like a morgue. :noexpression: I can understand why some people choose to sit there i.e older people, and parents with young children as its undercover BUT.....come on at least show just a little emotion, maybe a little vocal expression would not go a miss! At no point near us did i hear a "COME ON U REDS" or anything, (Maybe i didn't see their oxygens masks!) My dad is 60 years old and he was jumping up and down like a loony, screaming and shouting trying to spur the boys on! Embarrassing dad??? No my HERO Williams stand....Never again
dezgimed
The lad next to me and his dad who arrived this season haven't said a word all season. Literally to each other or anyone else. They just shovel food down their faces all game.
Mr Popodopolous
I sit in the Atyeo so I don't know, but is that the bit of the Williams with the Premier Seating near it? If so, there's your answer.
Mighty Squirrel Kingdom
The only bits of AG I like are the Atyeo and the East End. The Williams is as about as atmospheric as Pluto, the Dolman's OK when the sun is out. Had a nice chat in the lower Dolman with some Canadian tourists during a pre-season friendly a few seasons ago and at least it was like being at the beach rather than being in some grumpy old bar stewards front room. Well when i get my season ticket, I'm going to go for the EE i think! the only thing that worries me slightly about that is the "sitting and standing" issues that are often talked about on here! I'm all up for standing but only being just over 5ft might be a little problematic for me as i do want to actually watch the game, not someones back - Ho hum

Guest MaloneFM
Victoria I have been meaning to speak to you about the shenanigans created by your parent yesterday. If I want to spend nintey minutes in the company of a grey haired raving maniac I'd get Motson in the gantry with me. All afternoon he was up and down like Debenhams bloody lifts. I'm just glad you never chose to sit under me. More than once his bawling woke up Snothausen from the Evil Post and he had to go online to find out what the score was and what ideas he could have for monday. And whats the idea of bringing in your own food? When you walked below the gantry I could clearly see you were carrying two melons in shoved down the top of your dress. I thought they were out of season?

They are the ones right next to the away fans! No real singers in there but alot of leary fans(not leary at our own players)

rayer
If you ask our old Mr Malone nicely, he might make some space up in his gantry for you to get a good view. Of course, there will be a fee for this, but this can be offset if you offer to change and empty his bag at half time.
4eveREDDy
Thought everyone knew it was unreserved. No they don't, why she was asking is because she has not been in there because she has only just started going again since the beginning of the season, and the fact she was in the williams with her dad that was not in the best of health
Guest harrisonBCFC
cant someone get them going in there. cant the club organise something for the last game of the season, like give um all a flag so they gotta stand up to see, and might feel funny stood up and start singing?? No my HERO Williams stand....Never again Being a responsible parent - I sat in the williams a couple of times at the start of this season as I've just started taking my little girl. My theory was it may avoid the worst of the language etc etc. Never - Ever - Ever - Ever - Ever - Ever again !!!!!!! There is more atmosphere in my doctor's surgery I swear. You don't need to watch one foot in the grave - just go and sit in the Williams - Victor Meldrew is there in many guises alive and well. Been back in my beloved Atyeo ever since. Why would you go down the Gate just to moan and pour scorn on the team. No wait the a quite a few who do that i retract the above. Just kidding i can tell though some fellas/lasses who have been down the gate year in year out will go there just to play footie manager. Do I Foook I would not be able to let those sort of comments pass. Little miss you will be fine in the EE plenty places to sit and stand near the front behind the goal has a supprisingly good view and you won't get any fools like the women sat behind on sat.
