Just called to book a ticket for a friend, and they have sold out apparently!

If this is true they've sold 1000 tickets in less than 2 hours???

According to the website they had sold 1800 of a 2800 allocation this morning??

Maybe the person you spoke to got the Shefield and Stoke games mixed up?

I'd call back as they couldn't of sold that many that quickly so late in the day.

I thought exactly the same.... I called back and he said there was NO tickets left, ALL tickets for the remaining 3 games were gone!

I find that almost unbelievable.. I'd ring back and ask why it still states online they are available. It's not 12 midday yet either.

GJ states how important fan power is then the ticket office blantently obstruct people buying tickets :noexpression: I'd report the bloke did you get his name? time to name and shame this man.

NO i never! but I got the ticket and I let them know I was'nt happy and although I could'nt give them a name I'm sure they would be able to figure out who it was. Its was a male who told me there was no tickets, and another male who sold me the ticket - theres not usually any blokes in the tickets office let alone 3, so it should'nt take sherlock holmes to figure out who it was who lied to me.

Around the same number for charlton?
And hopefully the atmosphere will be just as good. The players need our 110% support tomorrow and I'm glad it's not a sell out. Away games tend to be shit for atmosphere when it is a sell out. Tomorrow we shall be able to sit or stand where ever we want unless stewards are ***** so those that want to sit can do at the front and those that wish to stand and make some real noise can do so at the back. Just how it should be at every away game.

Probably the same miserable, unhelpful chap who lost our Blackpool tickets in August. Ordered on the Monday before, he said they wouldn't arrive in time (4 working days from BS3 to Portishead mind) and they never arrived so we had to pay again on the day once we got up there! If it is the same bloke, he should be fired.

So, 1850 it is then! Should be enough to make some noise if everyone does their bit.

In a funny sort of a way I think we'll make more noise as 1800 than a full 2800. People won't have to sit in seats specified etc.

It could be a good atmosphere, Stoke certainly create an atmosphere at times.

Really suprised we havent sold more than 1850 even if it is on sky.

Fingers crossed its sit where you want!

Course it will be. They ain't exactly going to tell us to sit in our seats in a stand that holds 4,800! You worry far too much Mark!

Rumour has it that stoke fans will be sharing the same stand as us, have you heard anything?

Theres a strong possibility. People were queuing for 3 hours yesterday for tickets for tomorrows game and renewal of season tickets. Think theyve sold about 27k if that sounds right? Not sure what their capacity is!

Stroke

They have 1500 home tickets left and are appealing to the fans to make it as intimidating as possible. A load of scruffy potters singing Tom Jones songs, might sh!t myself.

As we predicted on Delilahs forum has happened.

Stoke have told Bristol to stop selling tickets because of the amount of tickets that Stoke are selling to home fans.

This means that there is a very strong possibility that Stoke fans will be in the Away end nearest to the tunnel with segregation in place as has been the case a few times this season.

Bristol fans will be told it's unreserved seating in the part of the stand that you will now be allocated

Wow, i'm totally impressed. You have a Stoke v City match thread with over 100 posts and its not even Saturday!

In contrast OTIB has 100 threads all pertaining to the same thing, your forum posters are much more disciplined.

WOOT!! :tumbleweed: new smiley, zomg, and rather appropariate too!
