Strangely Optimistic

Port Said Red

Recommended Posts

I know there is quite a bit of doom and gloom around at the moment but I think we have a chance to upset the form tomorrow. I see this game as being very similar to the away game at Watford earlier in the season.

Just to remind you; we had lost to Charlton, Ipswich (ok thrashed) and Leicester and then had a reasonable draw at Hull. We went to Watford, (strangely enough for the Saturday evening fixture again) more in hope than expectation and won 2-1.

Lot of similarities there, Sat evening, on the telly, hoofball opponents, poor run followed by an slightly improved one to get a draw etc.

If Johnson junior really is fit again and Macca is ok that will be even better.

Unfortunately I am going to Amsterdam Saturday evening otherwise I would have been there tomorrow. I think it's down to the House That Jack Built (or whatever they call it these days) on St Johns Lane instead. Thats where we watched the watford game as well so is that another sign?

Whatever, Come On You Reds is the battle cry...........

I was hoping no one would say that! It's up there with Plymouth not winning at the Gate since 1931 and City not losing in Cardiff since the 60;s,

Aye some plonkers who wrote those on here. Ahem.

I saw a sign tonight - Stoke 1 City (Centre) 3.

Yep the sign looked good.
