havanatopia
Despite the disappointment of defeat when I was at the Britannia I need to find a new home for 2 x Sheff Utd tickets due to business commitments. I would happily subsidise the face value so any reasonable offers would probably be accepted. They are with my brother in Clevedon so could be mailed out or collected. Please send me a private message if you are interested. many thanks. Rich.

robins72
That's what I was asking. Can't work it out why this match is now so unpopular. Fickle fans I think and the thought of paying for play-off matches!! I think I have the worst away record this season seen 7 scored and 18 against!!! Redminster
I think we'll have an official City following of just under the 3k but probably around 2.5k in the ground as I think the fickle element of our fans will not bother spending the money on going up there, even if they have already bought tickets. It's a dead rubber innit? I don't have any problem with that as there are more important things in life than City, just disappointed by it. Say all you want, i really couldnt afford to go anyway, same with Southampton really, had as insurance really, i'll take all the digs on the chin Hmmm...regarding your original post, surely there still is a hell of a lot riding on it? As much as I love this club, some of its supporters really let it down sometimes and it really ashames me. So LFC, you originally bought a ticket, and therefore taking away the opportunity for someone who REALLY wants to go, and now you cant be arsed because there is nothing riding on it? Well, I cant speak for anyone else, but in my eyes this is a MASSIVE MASSIVE game. Not only can we confirm our playoff place, we can put pressure on the top 2 and also begin to get some form back. Theres only one word to describe Lita for Congo and that begins with a W and ends with an R.

I suspect he has put most of his wages into City this season so I don't see whats wrong if he wants to save £50 after a long season. Especially as the play offs are coming up and will cost alot. I have to agree; I'm an apprentice and you don't really get paid enough to fuel the addiction for football. Saying that, i am still going saturday, but if it meant borrowing more money "as it usually does on my wage" then i would reconsider, with the play off looming. There is a difference for people who only want to go when we're winning and people having to choose games due to a sh!t wage. As i say, i'll be going saturday and i've also been a ST holder for 9 years but there have been times where money's been really tight and i have had to miss out of away games. So don't think it makes anyone a "lesser" of a fan. ziul

Surely if you cant afford it, you cant afford it? Your obviously someone who can easily afford to go to watch city. But Lita for congo has said he's on appentice wages is probabaly only on modest amount of money, quite close to what henry suggested. And a away in sheffield would probabaly take most of his weeks wage. So he bought a ticket thinking we may get promoted on that day and wanted to be there when it happened?? whats wrong with that? and now he wants to save his money for the COSTLY playoffs...... Home ticket semi + Wembley ticket (£60 plus by all accounts) + travel to wembley + away ticket semi maybe... = alot of money for someone on an apprentices wage. Not everyone is in an position to afford to go to every game, like you obviously are, so don't be an arse and put people down for being picky which games they go to! There shouldn't be, i'll buy a ticket if we were winning and I won't if we are not attitude. If you are that hard up, you shouldnt be worrying about going to football at all, and therefore wasting your money on it. There are far more important things you should be spending it on. Think things should be put into perspective a bit more by some people and have some consideration for those people who actually want to go whether City are winning or not and not a chance to jump on the bandwaggon and join the party. Lita For Congo
I'm on £170 a week, which isnt a great deal for a full time job obviously, my boss lent me the money to get a ticket when he got his, so i wasnt going to say no was i? You can say what you will about things riding on it, but i personally don't think their is. Whatever any of you say, i don't feel your justifying yourselves at all, as frankly, i don't care. I've made my decision not to go as i will not have money, this weekend i will have 90 quid in my bank, that would have to all go on Sheffield(most likely train, beers ect.) How do i run my car? BCFC Grim
I do find it quite embarrasing the amount of tickets being sold for this game on here. I agree with rock robin. If you could afford it in the first place, then i see no reason why you can't now. I'm not going to make judgement, but due the game not being as massive as it could of been, your not going to go. It's ****in obvious; when the tickets went on sale we looked set to go up automatically and therefore no need for play-off game. However, now it's looking very likely that play-off games will be what's going to happen. And if i had to choose between Saturdays game or the play-off's i know what i'd choose. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford both at the moment so i will be at both. But some people can't afford to support the very expensive hobby of football by going to every game, so give them a break!

Guest east_dundry_red
You his mum or something? Christ, someone offers tickets and people still find a moan to be had The only people moaning are you and nickj, ive noticed a certain trend on this forum, even with the amount of moaners we have you 2 still stand out a mile, lets face it if theres moaning to be done it's usually by you 2. You sound like a pikey bunch of protestors outside of westminster soon as somthing goes wrong in outer mongolia.
Guest east_dundry_red
You earn less than £150 per week, yet you can afford to go to city home and away?? sorry, but your talking complete bollox. Acually you'll find i go to city hame and away and i earn exactly £150 a week, luckly for me i have a mate that sorts my away tickets and i pay him back bit by bit, but i still make 65 of away games and every home game and i travel from newport to do it. NickJ
Yes it would be and if i could manage to go without the Mrs kicking me out i would, but the baby was not due till next week and so has made going difficult. Since like you Nick i have done most away games this season, i don't think the fact that it is not a promotion game has any thing to do with it. No it wouldnt!! havanatopia
Do you know how much Lita for Cono actually earns? I doubt its much more then £150. I suspect he has put most of his wages into City this season so I don't see whats wrong if he wants to save £50 after a long season. Especially as the play offs are coming up and will cost alot. Well said Henry. Having a go at a bloke because he realises he may have to pay for two play off games and an expensive wembley match is bang out of order. Leave it out people. I cannot go for work commitments AND because it is likely not to be a do or die game... we all have to prioritise our lives and that should be respected. I still have two tickets... a donation will be gratefully accepted. The tickets now reside in London and will end up in the garbage if no takers.
