brad blit
Most people will agree that last weeks first half performance was very bad and ultimately cost us the game. However there were plusses in the second half and this should be taken into account. Basso Wilson Vasko Carey McAllister Johnson (if not fit Skuse) Elliott McIndoe Brooker (if not fit Carle) Trundle Adebola No one on the right hand side is playing well enough to start and Trundle showed in the last game that hes can get the ball down and play footy which is when we play our best...... So lets go 4-3-3! Brooker and Trundle both tend to come in deep to collect the ball, Wilson can make runs from the right hand side and McIndoe can offer the creativity from the middle with Johnson. Vasko is a better choice than Fontaine to replace McCombe and Beattie is a big physical player and Sheff Utd are dangerous from set pieces so Vaskos height and power should help. Should Johnson not be fit then Skuse can be an ample replacement and only losses his place because we need creativity. However if Brooker isnt fit its not as simple as Byfield hasnt done enough the last two games to be considered..... so if Carle is fit he can either fit behind Adebola / Trundle or we go 4-4-2 and Carle goes right. We have to play to our strengths of getting the ball down and playing football. If we can do it playing away at Stoke we can do it anywhere!!
