Will Rollason
...........hand of god.. ... orr......carey......fonts.........macca.... Sproule....skuse......carle/johnson.....elliot......mcindoe.... ............dele........ Nobes jamie mcombe carle/johnson trundle byfield/brooks( if fit) gotta be 4-5-1 , we suck with 4-4-2. mccombe was shocking vs Stoke and Wolves but recovered a bit as the games wore on, but he gives me the fear every time he gets the ball at his feet. Time for fonts surely??( don't call me Shirley) Can Ivan function with the pressure on? Murray on the bench? ( doubt it) GJ clearly thought that Willow was not up to it last week but he also took Byfield off who wasnt really having a stinker. Like to see Carle given a shot as he's a battler ( even though he hasnt set the pulse racing so far) or LJ if he's fit . Anyway its going to be very very tough tomorrow and i don't hold out much hope.. 3 points in the bag then... :icecream: :icecream: you reds. Why have Skuse and Elliott in the same side? both simalar players although Elliott is a better version, City have to ditch this negitive approach to matches and go with a 442 and have a real go from the first minute. Basso Orr Carey McCombe Fontaine (drop McAllister as defensively a liability and delivery going forward also not up to it in recent weeks) Trundle( Sproule has had ample opportunity to prove he's worth his place and failed more times than not, give Trundle the nod starting out wide) Elliott Carle(Offers far more than Skuse and would compliment Elliott, although he hasn't set the world alight you can see the lad does have a talent) McIndoe Adebola Brooker : If injured (Give Showunmi another shot, he has lots to prove and with Dele he'd certainly give us a presence up front)
Will Rollason
Why have Skuse and Elliott in the same side? Because we have no form , as opposed to the blades who do and its their last home game in front of 30,000 with a shot at the pray offs, we are in for a battering make no mistake. Skuse and Elliot give us protection. City have to ditch this negitive approach to matches and go with a 442 and have a real go from the first minute.[ see "form" above and remember that 4-4-2 did not get us to the top of the league. We are NOT strong enough and, again, we are playing with no confidence. drop McAllister as defensively a liability and delivery going forward also not up to it in recent weeks) Mccombe has been far worse and is only in the team , as far as i can work out, due to his threat from set pieces. Sproule has had ample opportunity to prove he's worth his place and failed more times than not, give Trundle the nod starting out wide Agreed but Trunds on the wing?? maybe for the last 15 as at uuurrrmmm Norwich away wasnt it? Not an option really and he is very left footed so can only cut in making the pitch even narrower than usual. Give Showunmi another shot, he has lots to prove and with Dele he'd certainly give us a presence up front Ha HA HA, presence....like it.
BITW
Ohhhhhhhh Bassssoooo Orr-Carey-Fontaine-Macca Carle (who else RM?)-Skuse/Elliott- Jonno (fit?)-Macca Dele- Brooker/Trunds Either this or try Trunds in the hole? His creativity could come in handy there.
