What A Performance!

Just back from Sheffield, what a performance. How we did not win is beyond me. The whole team was magnificent and apart from Cotterill at the death, I can't recall Basso making a save. I only wish we had played like this all of April. Carle was awesome - how does he bounce off defenders like that?

I just hope Homer Halsey pisses off back the Premier League and we don't have hime reffing any of the playoffs. He really is awful.

Got to agree with everyone here, great day out today, just got back to London, (om the same tube as Marv - havin a few days off and limping a bit, but happy), atmospehere was good today and the performance a real difference. A sense of a corner having beenn turned, the pressure was off and you could tell, on the the pitch and in the stand. We were passing again and although we lost, it felt like a win even before we knew other results had gone our way. Now we can all be positive, we have next week, with nothing to lose, trying to secure 4th spot and a real chance inthe play-offs and if we don't make it - its still been great!

Noble looked a lot better today than ive seen him for a long time. I think playing that position suited him a lot more, and he was much more effective and useful to the others.

I think that kiss he blew at the end must have been for you!

carle, noble and trundle combined a treat. very promising fof the next couple of weeks....

Spot on and exactly what I said after the game.

Carle and Trundle actually played in their best positions, through the middle, the difference in their performances compared with when they have played wide, was very noticeable.

And having the three of them, Trundle, Carle and Noble, in the same team, made all the difference. Flair players, all on the same wave length.

We actually looked like scoring goals, and went back to playing football.

Very confident about the play offs.
