Awww, we all know he's a bit of a fool, but his heart's in the right place. Put yourselves in his shoes, remember what it was like getting relegated nine years ago and losing to brighton a few seasons ago at Cardiff. Hopefully no tears on 26th. May, just a trophy at Wembley and promotion.

petehinton
gas head or not it's hard for ANY manager to cope with relegation he said ,' i want city to go up becuase it would be great for the city of Bristol.' For a gas-head to say that is something he must also love Leicester or be extremely angry with his players for what they put the fans through or both

Markman
the love in some have for Hollowhead confuses me - he is Gas - we are City - I laughed when I heard he got the Foxes relegated - not against the Foxes but because it was him - still he will get a trip to whorefield next season (if he still has a job) (Oh no he wont will he - still Cheltenham is very nice)

Like him or loathe him, everyone would have to say that a will to win is not what holloway is lacking, and he will be shattered about what has happened to them. Si. All he is really known for is "hilarious" comments to the media. I am frequently read out excerpts from his "fantastically funny" BBC column by my Leicester-supporting work colleague (who is AWOL at the moment and hasn't been in touch for 24 hours) and feel it is just someone trying too hard to be funny and keep up the charade. Someone who has seen many of his games in charge once told me "he's good when the team are winning, but if things aren't going well he's clueless". Which of course, has been shown up at Leicester. And when people try to criticise him he's sure to wheel out the fact that he struggles bringing up deaf children and that his wife once had cancer. Of course I have complete sympathy for this, but at the end of the day we all do our jobs with problems and struggles at home, that doesn't make him special as a football manager. And of course, on top of that, he's a gashead and is well known for his hatred of City. So, in all... I'm laughing my tits off at this.

CiderEagle
I used to respect the bloke but I'm afraid that went out of the window when he walked out on Argyle almost overnight, after all those articles on the Beeb website about what a great club Plymouth are and how happy he was there. The best bit about yesterday's game. even better than Noble's free kick, was when the result from Stoke came through and the "Cheer Up Holloway" song started ... Andy Horsman
I don't buy all this 'he's a Bristolian' crap, he's never done diddly squat for City or Bristol apart from become a real life spitting image charicature. No sympathy, he did the dirty on Qpr as well as Plymouth, so why should he get any football fans loyalty when it all goes tits up? Back at his level with the Cheltenham blue squatters, and personally I'm delighted.

Holly is a passionate man where Rovers are concerned which is fair play to him he is all so a Bristolian that has made his mark he will be back good luck to him. Still very funny to see Hollway cry. On the way back from Leicester we were listening to their local radio station " If THAT is top of the League then my team is brilliant!" Always has to have a dig. I have no sympthy for him what so ever. But I do have sympathy for my boss who is a season ticket holder at the Walker Stadium. Don't think I will be asking for a pay rise for a while. Chappers
No doubt he will now be sacked, so that Mandaric can employ yet another hapless fop who will be sacked following a draw at Cheltenham on the opening day. The best thing for Leicester will probably be to leave him in charge, as he has plenty of experience at that level, and it might give the Club a bit of stability. Can't see why Leicester fans were crying, it isn't that bad in Division 1, they will win more than they lose, get to visit some new grounds, and it will probably only be for a season or two. Mind you, after 9 years it does begin to grate a bit!

edson
I don't see what all the fuss is about. Mandaric vowed to get Leicester out of the Championship within three years with Holloway at the helm. He's achieved it in his first season.
