Book a day return from Bristol to Didcot for £16.80 and then book a One Day Travelcard from Didcot to Norwood Junction for £21.90. As long as yout trains to/ from London call at Didcot you are OK as these are fully flexible tickets, and will cost you £38.70 instead of the £51.00 direct fare.

And access the Trainline via the link on this site, of course!

you can get it cheaper if you go via salisbury but you only save £17 and it takes longer. i just went for the £51 return as there a re more trains available to catch just in case i don't make the 7am one i booked

Just looked at it and if you could make a half 6 train you can get 2 singles for 34 pound for a adult and 17 pound for a child or 1 adult and 1 child on a family rail card is 41 quid for a return or 32 pounds for two singles.

How many of you's looking at going up on the train and at what time?

A few of us are thinking of wagging it on the 7.30 that gets in just in time for opening time at 9.
