PhatWill
For those who did not travel by train to charlton for the night match The last london to bristol service had approx 350 City on board not bad considering the train only has 450 seats There was a good 100 City on the train that departed before that one as well. Fortunately I'm getting a lift up there and then getting the train back at 6pm on Sat.
Guest
Sorry John, are you saying you counted every single City fan on the train?
Never to the dark side
Tom no I didn't count all of them while they were on the train I do that for a living Like Wellington said to his troops on the eve of the battle of Waterloo I don't know what they do the enemy, but by God they frighten me. Actually I counted the City fans as they came off the train at Bristol
22A
City's FA Cup Final appearance was at Crystal Palace and the GWR had to provide 18 special trains in addition to normal services to transport all the City fans that day.

Never to the dark side
Dark side he say sorry. The wolves game was not the best for me as I drove to wolves Dropped sister and nephews girlfriend of in birmingham city centre Then drove to wolves parked the car and couldn't secure the the car as the passenger door would not lock Had to pin the passenger door up against a pillar so no one could get into the car got into the ground late and I had to plead with a steward to let me into the game
RedM
Not sure about the record numbers going to a match but I'm sure we must have beaten 350 returning from Southampton, and that was just in my carriage alone!!!
