  6. In 1962 I paid £12 000 to bring Alfie Biggs back to Rovers from Preston. At that time the British record transfer fee was £115 000 paid by Manchester United for Denis Law so an Alfie was 10.4% of a Denis The current British record is £89 million for Paul Pogba so Alfie would be valued today at 10.4% of that which is £9.25 million #tannlogic

[116-112 or 117-111 for GGG] I'll continue to add scorecards as people post them or I find them. TOTALS through post #123 of the thread 68 = GGG won 12 = Draw 04 = Canelo won [includes 2 Golden Boy promoters] 68/84 = 81% had GGG winning the fight. Fairly bloody conclusive I'd say. The only people who gave it to Canelo were his promoters and fellow Mexicans on Mexican TV. Edit- I've watched it 4 times now, 3 times without commentary. 116- 112 GGG.

  23. Mayweather absolutely schooled him as well but I do remember that one judge had it as a draw. Unreal. The scoring system needs reform. Maybe have 5 judges and take away the two widest scores or something like that...

  25. No it's Charlie Brooker. Formally employed by the BBC to satirise the state of the country in his topical series Screen Wipe, he now feels he is in a position to advise the Gas on not being "the gift that keeps giving" any more. Good luck with that Charlie!

  27. The judge who had it 118-110 is the wife of the man who stopped the Mayweather v McGregor fight early. She also has a history of awful scoring in MMA bouts.

  33. I am still raging about that scorecard in the GGG/Canelo fight, think i'm more p'd off than Gennady. He has worked hard all his life and had a unbeaten professional record before this fight, now because of one idiotic judge Gennady's record has been tarnished. Noticed on twitter that Canelo has had some 'kind' judges in some of his previous fights - 118 - 109 vs Trout 114 - 114 vs Mayweather 117 - 111 vs Lara 119 - 109 vs Cotto Goldenboy cash cow

  35. Classic on their other forum: http://gasheads.org/thread/6757/hope-wrong 'Arry would apparently want to be DoF at some tinpot club that can't afford to top up his dog's finances (plus he'd be worried about his bulldog around their management!) Got a feeling a few of our wind up merchants might be on there  as one has pointed out maybe Wael's kit means he wants to be the manager Maybe player manager at this rate ...

  36. I'm guessing these red cards are all part of a master plan. I believe most players who get a red card get fined, with the red cards they are racking up they should be able to save enough cash to get that credit facility to stretch until the end of the season.
