  1. To be fair Bob I can see how you've got them mixed up!
  2. Bit before my time but I can see why people say that!
  3. Taking the tables as they stand right now, we'll be losing: - Newcastle, Brighton, Wigan, Rotherham, Blackburn and one of Reading, Huddersfield, Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday. and gaining - Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Swansea, Sheffield United, Bolton and one of Fleetwood, Scunthorpe, Milwall and Bradford. Leta say that the third placed teams win the playoffs, that leaves the Championship next season looking like this: Aston Villa Barnsley Birmingham City Bolton Wanderers Brentford Bristol City Burton Albion Cardiff City Derby County Fleetwood Town Fulham Huddersfield Town Ipswich Town Leeds United Middlesbrough Norwich City Nottingham Forest Preston North End Queens Park Rangers Sheffield United Sheffield Wednesday Sunderland Swansea City Wolverhampton Wanderers In your opinion is that a stronger or weaker league than this season? Who do you think will be the dark horses and who will improve/implode on this season? IMO Newcastle and Brighton are as strong if not stronger than Boro and Sunderland and I don't think Fleetwood or Bolton are any better than what'll be going down. Realistically there must be 16 teams there that would be fancying top 6. Such a mad league. I'd fancy Villa to be a lot better than they have been this season, same for Norwich. Would be surprised if PNE and Barnsley do as well as they have. I think Sheff Utd will adapt quite comfortably and be mid table.
  4. Absolutely unreal performance from him tonight. Greatest of all time for me.
  5. Welcome Andy, always good to hear other fans opinions when they actually want a decent chat. I tried to register for a Barnsley forum last night to give compliments based on the first half performance and had my registration refused due to my location which is a bit sad. No wonder there's only about 7 posts a day on there... I thought Barnsley were excellent in the first half and very good value for the lead, despite the horrendous refereeing that actually led to the lead being gained (I thought we were lucky not to be a couple behind by then!) You've hit the nail on the head with 'consistently crap or consistently great' - some of the football has been utterly scintillating - interspersed with some of the most appalling football I've ever seen! I've got a lot of respect for Barnsley, made a very good start to life in the Championship despite having your squad ripped apart. Hecky seems to be making a decent reputation for himself with little resource. Best of luck for next season.
  6. Yep quite fancy us sending Brum down in all honesty. Would be nice to have something meaningful riding on the last game anyway.
  7. Arsenal losing a big game. Who'd have thought it.
  8. He's delivered them a title though, arguably a considerably bigger ask than to do the same with Arsenal.
  9. He should have gone years ago.
  10. Has he shit himself?
  11. Was an absolutely ridiculous, lazy pass from Wright tbf. Needlessly played us right into trouble. Cracking finish though.
  12. No, Brum draw would see them 3 points clear with 6 left to play for
  13. Always fun to piss on a promotion party. We should be up for it.
  14. Decent pro but he'll have found his level if Blackburn go down. No thanks.
