  1. Blackburn are at Brentford so if they are going to take one from the bottom it has to be us surely, what with `arry and all. If they pick one from the top end then probably Wednesday v Fulham I guess.
  2. Forest aint out of it yet either. They go to QPR next week who need a win just to be sure of safety (and go to Norwich on the last day so won`t want to be relying on getting it there) and are then home to Ipswich on the last day.
  3. Bower Ashton is where they will apply not Long Ashton
  4. Surely Sky will now pick our game as one of their two last day live games won`t they?
  5. Renewed the day they came out. Was never really an issue, I`d have renewed if we`d been relegated to the Vanarama to be honest. A man`s allowed one vice and City are mine for good or ill.
  6. Longer than the broom and that`s become a club legend so why not? We could just play the London Underground announcement on a loop during stoppages in play to keep everyone interested.
  7. I reckon it`s going to be even stronger next year too. Rotherham and Wigan plus possibly Blackburn or Birmingham coming down won`t be easy and Doncaster, Plymouth and Pompey coming up will easily outperform the crap that`s gone down IMO.
  8. I think it would depend on whether they wanted to sell him to the club he was on loan at. If that club said one of the conditions of us buying him is that he is allowed to play against you then they would perhaps agree to it.
  9. In recent years it has to be Albert all things considered. What did we pay Barnet, 100k? With the transfer to Boro and the sell on from Villa the percentage on that initial payment has to be around 3000% even allowing for a sell on from us to Barnet. When you consider that we got bloody good value out of him while he was here which we didn`t with Bolasie he`d be my choice from the last twenty years or so.
  10. The fact remains that despite the season we`ve had and if you add in the two home cup games by the end of this season we will have had close to half a million people attending matches at AG.
  11. Jim Brennan. 1.5mil I think, back when that was a lot of money.
  12. Probably mean we`re one of the games live on Sky too. The top of the league will be pretty well sewn up and what with the `arry factor.
  13. They probably will refuse to be relegated - after all, they`ve got form for claiming success they haven`t earned.
  14. Ah right, didn`t know that. I hope he does stick with England too - if nothing else it will give us a reason to watch them again.
  15. I think he`s nailed his colours firmly to the England mast - not even sure if you can switch countries after you`ve played U21 or not either. Thanks tammy for some great moments and being a ray of light in an otherwise car crash of a season. A hat trick is about all he hasn`t got this season - on TV v Brighton would be a good time to do that.
