Maybe they didn't breach but it was my understanding that if they didn't achieve promotion last season they would have had to sell players in the Summer to comply. That's kind of a breach if not quite actually one.

My potential examples would have been Bournemouth, Sheff Utd and QPR. Seems quite a few may only achieve because they bend the rules.

It's also worth assessing which non-parachute payment achieved promotion by flouting the FFP rules at the time. I can think of at least 3 potential examples.

I think we made him one of our highest earners to persuade their PotY to join us. I’m pretty sure Jones complained about not being able to compete with us. At a guess I’d expect him to be on between £12-15k per week. If I’m correct, that brings in better than cover.

Well he could, if he was ever fit. If anyone came in for him I’d take the opportunity to free ourselves of his wage. If things go our way over the next 7 days, he could yet be joining a top 10 side to soften the blow.

A point raised in commentary yesterday was Max's save percentage so I did a bit of looking at stat websites today. It seems that, with Max ever-present, we have the best save percentage in the division. Now they may be easier shots than some others, but I'm fine with that if this is part of our defensive unit performing well.
