  1. Is Max currently our longest serving player, presume him and Vyner as one club mans, no way would’ve we thought Vyner and Max both one of the first names on the team sheet 3/4 years ago.

  3. Burnley could yet stay up which would increase our chances too
  4. One thing with Twine at least we know what we’re getting today he showed that even if it is for 3-4 million. Risky business signing someone new who could be at risk at not performing to the price tag or fitting it!
  5. Yes, I think Casa Grande 18 (training with first team and match days) and Joe Duncan (17, excellent in FA youth cup) currently ahead of HWR (22 in May)
  6. Marley Rose signed a 2 year deal March 2023, so expires 2025. As you touched on suprised Meerholz on the list. As for HWR thought he had every quality of the ‘modern day keeper’, Nige used to chat about him a lot- injuries held him back a little recently.
  7. Think the next few weeks training with first team will be telling, almost like a trial to see if LM thinks he ready for it.
  8. I know we do anything to moan but that’s so Bristol City complaining about a players teeth cmon now!
  9. Part of the deal was to play Aldershot in a pre season friendly wasn’t it or play at there ground? Level head for his age, learned the hard way starting at non league, let’s hope he gets off to a flyer in pre season Good to see he’s already gelling with our first team training when aldershot don’t play midweek. May even be in full time now there season is over
  10. Yeovil just released squad update , Josh Owers released, when he was here I thought he was one who was going to take off
  11. Yes that’s right. Remember George Dowling was same age group and stuck with city despite interest from Arsenal & more while Jacob & Herbie left.
  12. Several in that era at 14/15 years old left to go to bigger clubs: Jacob Maddox - left for Chelsea, now at Forest Green Kyle Scott - left for Chelsea now at FC Cincinnati Herbie Kane - left for Liverpool now at Barnsley and doing very well. Any more?
  13. Looking at recent retained lists for Academy players over last couple of years, clubs do really hit the nail in knowing if they are good enough, what they are currently up to now. Can’t imagine how brutal being released as a young footballer all the dedication families put into it growing up. what our recent released are currently upto : 2022: Khari Allen - Yate Town Louis Britton - Mallon & Tiptree Barney Soady - Cardiff Met Uni Nathaniel Williams - Chippenham Town 2023: Will Buse - Bath City Prince Henry - Bromsgrove Sporting Josh Owers - Yeovil Joe Porton - Melksham Town James Taylor - Truro City Fair play to them for keeping at it, and working hard to get back to where they want to. Can anyone think of any academy players who have been released by us and go on to bigger or better things?
  14. Kudos to everyone involved, a great cause. Well done players and staff.
  15. Nice to see some ex players hitting the heights still. Sammie Szmodics - Championship TOTY Marlon Pack - League 1 TOTY Aden Flint - League 2 TOTY Matt Smith - League 2 TOTY Big well done to Jade and team too for winning ‘community project of the season’ for the foundation, brilliant work helping steer kids away from negative experiences, and knife crime in bristol. Winning off the pitch so well done all involved
