  1. They would’ve just been trying it on.

    Imagine

Could be a slight problem here!
  3. Not much choice with the state of the pitch tbf which was really poor. Back passes were giving me the heebie jeebies as it looked like it could bobble over a foot at any time! Chalk and cheese compared to the lovely surface Wednesday night. Regardless though, beaten by the better side today unfortunately and just that game too far for Farm. Amazing season and they should be proud.
  4. But that’s my point. I’m not loyal to Lansdown. Or Manning. Or the ‘Board’ made up of complete clowns. I’m loyal to the club and what that means to me. The lifelong friendships made, the feeling of having that common goal, the camaraderie of those around me on the terraces, the belonging, the representation of our city, the memories made and the ones to come. It’s got **** all to do with supporting Lansdown, but it does mean that I have an incredibly vested interest in how he behaves as the main custodian of our club.
  5. Buying a season ticket to support your club (not Lansdown's or Manning’s) doesn’t mean you agree with the manager or the ‘board’. It just means you support your team regardless of the goons in charge, and always will long after they are gone (hopefully sooner rather than later). Not sure why so many people don’t get that and use STs as a defence mechanism for what these clowns are doing.
  6. Not ‘irrelevant’ to the people who have shelled out their hard earned to watch that crap.
  7. Never left early before but I have now. What a shower of shite that was.
  8. Both recent games against them I thought we were the better side - especially the recent Friday night game - but we got schooled by them earlier in the season by all accounts. Funny how it changes so much in a relatively short space of time.
  9. Was a great night out. Clubhouse back at the Creek was good fun afterwards as well! Sore head this morning but very much worth it. Looking forward to Monday now. Fantastic season though whatever happens.
  10. All this talk of Boards and investment reminds me. I saw Scudamore on Saturday after the game and he was with someone who very very very much looked like the old Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck. Probably something and nothing but struck me as a little weird that BB would want to take in City v Rotherham on a Saturday afternoon even if he is good mates with Scudamore.
  11. Yep. And with parachute payments when they come down.
  12. They will be there though. That’s all that matters.
  13. Just think it’s a completely unnecessary sly little dig which has no substance and just comes across as rude and patronising. Feeds the feeling of dislike and distrust towards him amongst those of us who have concerns. Ultimately does him no favours whatsoever.
