I hope that was not what was meant, however I won’t renew mine until I see commitment to support THEIR guy in all areas where necessary! Personally I think we have players who are coming through who are earning a chance plus Benarous Atkinson etc, so I don’t necessarily mean purchases. But if we sell Conway/Knight/Pring etc I expect to have an idea how that is to be reinvested. The CFO of BS stated on FBC words to the effect that there never was a ‘nest egg’ and much of the money was already spent. Thus I’m not sure where the nest egg comment came from but that particular bloke needs to STFU! For my tuppence I’ll buy mine in July if I see that commitment. If they won’t sell me one then, if I deem it worthy they shalt GO **** Themselves !

I am so confused! How many season tickets have actually been sold to supporters? How is withholding seats in the South Stand advantageous to the football club? Am I off base here, but are the club threatening/implying they will limit sales of season tickets at a relatively low level? All help appreciated!

Thats the truth!! Unfortunately the lads seemed to give the guy a metaphorical get out of jail free card in one section, answering their own stuff. However it was the best opportunity we’ve had to listen to the bloke speak and I am extremely grateful for the effort that takes! I’m not sure the radio Brizz journos would have been better or even got that amount of time. So nice job!

Way to many statements made and answered by the interviewers in respect of finance and spend. Ask the question and let Marshall answer. The comment about nest eggs is where many were left perplexed. Now it seems there never was a nest egg all the money had been pre-spent Did Marshall say there was a clause if a sold player becomes OOC?? Or am I hearing things. Very interesting stuff. I do get in order to get future interviews, you don’t necessarily want to be too probing. I think that other podcasts have suffered from that in the past, but decisions have to be made. Nevertheless it was some communication by the club that has been massively lacking, particularly in view of the outright garbage last October. Many thanks all!

Glee? Not sure that too many could be accused of that if sales are down (There are always one or two odd balls on any subject) I agree the more fans in the ground the better. Nonetheless what happened this season in respect of the firing of the previous manager, making statements that were plainly not accurate and the employing of a new one giving him a very clear promotion mandate comes at several prices. The main one being many will hang on to their money until BT JL and to an extent LM have not only spoken about intent for the season, but have been seen to have backed that up in some way. I think that’s fair! I haven’t listened to the FBC podcast out today, yet! But I’m hoping that the vocalization of that intent is clear

Why do you bother! I'm sure Cotswoldred2 is a nice chap however the obsession with attacking Pearson, brushing over the reality of what happened and posting arguments on here is weird.
