Saturday Ticket Sales Watch

Courtesy of me having too much time on my hands at the moment I've counted remaining tickets and we have 556 left available for Saturday. Looks like it should be a very near (if not) sell out. Anyone how know MK are expected to bring/have sold?

There were just under 1000 tickets for the home areas when I had a quick ganders yesterday so that's approximately 400 sold in the last 24 hours. I can see the present lot of tickets selling out by Thursday.

We may get additional though if MK don't sell all theirs - Dave L indicated on "The Concrete Roundabout" forum that their allocation was 1100 but their fans on the same forum suggest 400 would be a more accurate figure. If so, some of the balance may be given to our fans - although we won't know for certain until Friday evening/Saturday morning.

Are tickets for Atyeo Block D available from the office?

They're not online and weren't for Doncaster although there were a few people sat there

Atyeo block D is in the area reserved for away fans (1100 in total), however, if the away club has less supporters they will be squeezed into the corner (block b) making room for more city fans in block D.

Probably like the posh seats at Wembley (middle tier). The majority of them are taken on year long agreements (or longer) but they are only actually used for a couple of big games every year.

Exactly. Assuming they are bought by Corporates who rarely use them, why don't we (DaveL?) have a system where the ticketholders advise the club they can be resold, like theatre returns? It's embarrassing to see a prime part of the ground half empty, and annoying for those unable to buy comparable seats in the Dolman.

Poor effort seeing as they averaged 9000 at home last season and you would of thought a top of the table clash of two very inform teams would be attractive to them?

They're not a real football club but a franchise in the same way that you could buy a McDonalds franchise.

They should not be accepted as a normal football club but a superficial freak within football's culture.

They are an insult to football more than Chelski or 'Man U' ever are.

It is as sick as having City change name, move the best part of 100 miles out of Bristol, change colours and basically morph into a club that you can not possibly class as City.

Absolute ******* disgrace of a club.

So their level of away support is neither to be expected or a surprise.

Invalids.

I think the club miss out on a few more supporters on games like this due to only single seats being available.

There would probably be an extra few hundred/thousand fans who are put off due to not being able to get 2,3,4,5 seats together so that mates can sit together.

Why not make D,E blocks(dolman) season tickets only( or more if there a more ST), and the rest of the blocks unreserved seating?

Why did the club/fans insist on the switch to reserved seating in the dolman, or was it the slow descent into football becoming more respectable/middle class?

I'm not sure about that, there are less than 100 single tickets left in the upper dolman and williams 3 days before the game, with the upper Atyeo being completely sold out (and about 50 in the lower Atyeo - mostly groups of tickets). I think the club will sell them easily.

Plus, many people are put off by unreserved seating as they like to have the same seat every game, know where they are going to be sat or like the comfort that they can sit with their family, friends etc (if they are proactive enough to have bought tickets before there were only singles left).

because you will get pockets of seats with no one standing in them say 1 or 2 seats with 3 people looking to sit together, its just not practical at the moment with all the works going on in the ground,

thats why people were adviced to get tickets as early as possible,

wait til after xmas its going to be even worse then,

Why are no tickets available online for Williams blocks A and L?

They haven't been available online all season - for the same reason it wasn't possible to buy season tickets there unless renewing from a previous season. Basically it is close to the away fans so the club controls who buys tickets in this area. I believe a lot if the tickets are reserved for the community trust, schools etc.

Thanks, I hadn't spotted that before.

Just posted on TFF's that our visitors are chuffed as hell to be bringing a massive 500 (that's FIVE HUNDRED) away supporters!

I bloody hate MK Dons and everything they have brought to the game. :grr:

On the positive that should hopefully mean more tickets for our fans and we could definitely do with them.

At about 7 this morning there were:

11 tickets in the Williams (all singles)

16 tickets in upper dolman (all singles)

36 tickets in the Atyeo (all in front few rows)

35 tickets in family (mostly singles)

200ish tickets in lower dolman mostly in front 2 rows aside from the odd single ticket
