TheKeynshamPele
Bad news sells, fact! its easier to criticise and when your at the wrong end its easier to do that.
pongo88
It's quite logical why this happens. When things are going wrong, someone will start a thread saying - e g it's Lee Johnson's fault, Cole Skuse is rubbish etc. This then starts endless discussion. As some is often abusive we then have even more posts where people start calling each other silly names. Then build in the fact that these sort of threads usually go off at numerous tangents. Also, if things are bad, there are lots of crazy posts about who City should sign plus a few saying sack the manger. In comparison, if all is going well, there's not much to say

Amongst the new arrivals there does n't seem to be much opinion on Lucky Luke Ayling ,Why ? Is Mark Little on a par with some of our best wing backs ? Major Isewater
Moaning is a British tradition. You wanna come to France mucker. In a moaning World Cup they'd be unbeatable . Moaning buggers ! They build it up from the back with low murmuring, with a little support that becomes an audible grumble and then whoosh a full on moan ,often resulting in strikes or ministers backtracking on a perfectly reasonable policy just to appease them. Whereas ,your British moan is a thing of honesty and simplicity . "Bloody weather !" uncontestable ,"cuppa ?" "don't mind if i do" You see genuine grievance and all forgotten over a nice cup of tea. What nice people we Brits are .

There's a limit to the amount of times you can post "I like what Steve's doing with the side". That's why lots of posts are about peripheral things, like replica shirts, former players/managers, premier league antics - and non-league football! WTFiGO!?!
Seems natural that people speak up more when they're discontent. Start making constant mistakes at work and see how much more intervention there is from your boss than when things are ticking along tickadyboo. Nobody ever congratulates public transport when it does turn up on time etc Posters on here, or in the media, also know that saying contentious things generates responses, don't they robborred? See Adrian Durham. There is far less contention when we're top of the league than bottom. Ever heard the saying 'a happy wife is a happy life'? To me a happy life is also a quiet life. I don't think the Rovers thread would be as big as it is if we were struggling, it's become a pass time for our surplus energy.
spudski
Unfortunately it seems many don't want to debate 'football'. They just see it as winning or losing. When losing...everything is wrong. When winning...everything is right. It makes me smile how some fans just wallow in success and say nothing...but gone bloody mental when it's not going to plan. We were out played at times at Fleetwood and in the second half against MK Dons. A few, including me, feel we may be a bit too reliant on one way of playing. It's worked so far...but when injuries start and when teams start to suss us out, it will be interesting to see what SC conjures up to combat this. Hopefully this rich vein of form will continue. I believe we have a strong enough squad for this league and that 3-5-2 suits us best....so hopefully SC won't have to make so many changes. It does irk me somewhat, when some fans say...'we won...3 points...that'll do me...' regardless of being out played for parts of the game. They will be the first complaining if it all goes wrong. Feeling very positive though at the moment.

Garland-sweden
Strikes me that there is much more traffic on OTIB when we're at the wrong end of things compared with the "good times". Do we have nothing to say ? We criticise the moaners but at least they get our danders up .Now everything is hunky dory and we are sitting back and spectating .Where's the debate ? Where's the cutting edge ? Where's me medication ? The train is on the right track, be happy, enjoy. The team is good, Points are coming in, we score for fun. he he. For once we are in top. Garland-sweden
I will start. We have a good defence with one of our defenders alredy scored twice. The important midfield have everything you can ask for. Our captain made a misstake, but the his the matchwinner, shows he got the balls. Our forwards is more than ok. Wilbraham 8 goals I Think. Agard who remains me of Gerd Muller. the german bomber in the 70 IEs. alredy 5 .Our future is Bright. Coyr
