  1. I enjoyed that. What crossed my mind, about the sacking, and that it wasn't amicable, is what reason they gave to Pearson on sacking him. He says he finds out post sacking by public interviews that it was down to results and worry re deconditioning of players. It's obvious he didn't want to go...so what was there reason to him. He says he's a manager, and obviously relied on his coaching staff to coach. In the same breath, he says he's concentrating on getting back to full health and reading between the lines wouldn't take another job on until ready. So did he feel with his health situation he could still manage us using his Coaches. It raises those questions in my head.
  2. For some reason he reminds me of Crazy frog.
  3. Might be worth considering going in June when they have F1 GP. Snaffle some cheap tickets. It's an awesome spectacle.
  4. Noticed how he mentioned that Tommy had begun a good understanding with Twine on the pitch and was a better player for it. Perhaps he wants to keep both.
  5. As others have said, there are far nicer places to visit in Spain. San Sebastian, Valencia, Seville, Cadiz, Granada, Madrid. I had some of the best seafood I've ever tasted at the fish market in Cadiz. Tuna sushi, sea urchins, oysters, prawns, Turbot, squid, octopus, cuttle fish, sardines, ortiguillas, dog fish...all washed down with great wine and cold beer. San Sebastian...just knock yourself out with Pintxos and visit nearby Bilbao. Barcelona is just a bit...meh imo..
  6. It comes across very much like, they know they are supporters, but are trying to make themselves more knowledgeable, ' in the know' than they are. It's too ' Pally '. They aren't reporters, or in the know. Just act neutral and as if you have no knowledge. That way the answers can't be led.. Just trying to make out
  7. Why don't they ask questions, without their own views added? It gives the interviewed an outlet just to agree. Ask a question without a view.

Can't go wrong with B&W. Love mine. Had em for 20 odd years. Sound awesome. Using separates. Dual, Marantz and Denon.
  9. SL was jizzing relentlessly at what Madjeski had achieved and wanted to replicate it. Coppell chosen and David James made headlines which put City in the Red Tops. I remember people gushing about us being ' recognised'.
  10. That's it, picture 7 on the eBay advert. Expand it...you can clearly see the stitching.
  11. I've heard the same. I also know people who've had the operation and had hamstring issues afterwards. Cycling makes it worse apparently.
  12. If you expand the photo showing the number 4, you can see it's hand stitched and not on straight. The last bit was common back then though.
  13. Did they use part of his hamstring to repair the ligament? I know this is common practice. Taking away part of your hamstring is bound to make some weakness surely?
  14. So Cotts will be manager and head of recruitment for non league FGR next season. They'll also be leaving Chippenham for training and moving to the new facilities at Eco park Jnctn 13, M5. Going to interesting to see if he can offload the cross.
  15. There is truth in that...but the opposite also happens. I inherited a vast collection of signed vinyl and memorabilia. I had people report that it was fake...only one person, and it was taken down immediately. Even though I provided evidence of the autographs being signed in person. There are a lot of self proclaimed experts in collectors circles, that often haven't got a clue. And sometimes people are just spiteful as they can't afford it and want it in their collection.
  16. The semi final against Hereford was great fun. Used to stand in the lower Williams nearest the East End. Always boisterous. Maybe the shirt was from a game in the lead up to the final. Season 85/86.
  17. Pretty much. I've had the good fortune to visit loads of them when I regularly watched Lazio play. Genoa was my favourite. Not really.
  18. It's not a British thing about ' Nostalgia '. I have many friends in Italy and other European countries who all said we are nuts for pulling down old stadiums, like Highbury and parts of Villa etc. Anything designed by Archie Leitch defined British football. https://footballgroundguide.com/stadiums-archibald-leitch-design#:~:text=Archibald Leitch biography,-Born in Glasgow&text=He would go on to,lives on to this day. I want a Stadium with history, bang in the centre of the community. Each stadium with it's own identity. Surrounded by pubs and places to socialise. Free parking on match days and good public transport connections. An away end, home end, good acoustics. Both with Terracing. Sides with seating. No electronic advertising around pitch. Lights turned off in stadium on night games. Stands close to the pitch. I don't want violence, but I want an edge to visiting the ground. An atmosphere. ( Which the Club say they want, but do everything to deter it ) I don't want it to feel like I'm visiting a shopping Arcade or Cinema, which it does now. Lastly...I'd crack down massively on drug use in the Stadium. More respect shown to fellow supporters. Look after, the kids, elderly, infirm. Respect and look after them...don't abuse them. More 'Policing' by the 'elders' of the ' tribe'.
  19. I'm gob smacked you've never heard of cloud seeding. I thought everyone knew about it. It's been going on since the 40s. It's been used to control weather in both good and bad ways. Disrupt the weather of an ' enemy ' country, destroy it's produce, manipulate their export and profit. It's all documented. In the same way people try to debunk chem trails. You've only got to look up in the skies to see it now. Water vapour vanishes. You get what are dismissed as thin veil clouds fogging the skies like a white mist. We had blue skies, clouds and planes water vapour trails in the past. We now get that...as well as the Criss cross of trails that don't vanish, just spread into a white dull mist in the sky. I've been in some countries where I've woken in the morning to be seen a criss cross pattern in the sky...not on any plane routes...white trails that just turn into one big thing white veil in the sky. Happened in California a lot.
  20. Well he does love his Rugger...all sideways and backwards.
  21. Surely we should have more than that, bearing in mind we are a Top 6 Squad
  22. This has always been my favourite tapas spot. I know it's Bath, but it's a no brainer on the train. Looking forward to trying the new Chefs work, to see if it's good as the previous one. Anyone else been and rate it? La Perla. https://www.la-perla.co.uk/menu/ https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5yL334IWVe/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==
