  1. In the same way it can't become about toxic feminism, and exclusion? Playing devil's advocate, as I do agree with your sentiments. I do feel it's good to have inclusivity. But I also feel it's also good to have male only and female only establishments. Not everything has to be all inclusive imo.
  2. Well it's hardly going to be a badge of 'Pride' if woman pretending to be blokes were involved is it...Cmon keep up
  3. That's a great initiative. There seems to be far more all female initiatives.
  4. I touched on it before...apart from the infrastructure, which is better, football is now about all inclusivity. It's a bit like going to the cinema now. I'm not saying that's a negative...but probably why it's such a sterile atmosphere. From the same link...
  5. Just to clarify... you're over everything that is remotely offensive to your tree hugging anxiety ridden community. Fair shout I'd say. Touche.
  6. The one thing that stands out when such conversations come about, is how many ' types' spend ages trolling the net to find images and content, and post over and over again, to get their points across that people are conditioned and triggered and that their view is better and more reasoned. They seem more triggered, offended and outraged, and spend more time trying to prove how wrong others are, at having a different opinion. I'm not sure what's worse. Those that are ' offended' or those that are triggered by the ' offended'.
  7. I don't do any of those so wouldn't know. Although the thought of fishing, just being away from everything in nature is appealing.
  8. I guess many of us on here were there back then. And we all remember how it was...but it's an eye opener as to how many more people now attend imo. Your second paragraph could still be a reflection of many football clubs/ stadiums around the world. Less so in wealthier Europe, but in other football mad countries it applies. Misplaced nostalgia...sometimes...but we had no alternative. That's how it was. If our part of the world hadn't changed, we'd still be going, and still enjoying it. Like many do in those same circumstances in say the likes of South America and Eastern Europe. I know I have fonder memories of those times than I do from more recent times. And have enjoyed visiting foreign stadia in the those conditions now. You mentioned it was exclusively a male pursuit...which made me wonder...is there anything in this country that males do exclusively as a collective anymore? I can't think of anything.
  9. Average league attendances for football league clubs. A real eye opener.
  10. Yes, that's why I see past his presentation style, as travel and food programmes are what I watch most. Now Antony Bourdain was a mardy sod...which I actually prefer
  11. Maybe...seems he's a bit marmite with viewers. Comes across like a character from the sit coms he writes. Over the top. Each to their own though. I'll still watch
  12. He's probably a really nice guy, I just find his presentation style of being overly happy and putting on silly faces rather put on instead of natural.
  13. I've watched a lot of his episodes, as he visits some great places...however he has to be one of the most irritating people ever to watch. I love watching Antony Bourdain as well. Again some great experiences. Honest as well. As for Portugal, as everyone has said, fabulous seafood at incredible prices. Had the best ever Turbot in Alvor. Simply BBQd with lemon and butter outside the restaurant. And cooked the freshest sardines on an up turned lobster pot, under a fire on the beach. Fresh lemon, chilled vino Verde and super bock, watching the sun go down. Lives long in the memory. And who can't resist a Portuguese tart....
  14. Perhaps we should all have a group hug and discuss our anxiety, die our hair blue and enjoy some soya, without mansplayingof course or showing any bit passion. I'll bring my guitar and we can learn Kumbeya together. FFS...same old wet wipes.
  15. He's still going ...
  16. Mate...you are fully triggered. How many posts on the subject. ...did someone shit on your falafel this morning. Kinnel...reminds me of a screaming unicorn... It's all the Tories fault..it's the media...the culture wars.
  17. ...Manning has jerked his behaviours over you as well. ' Behaviours'...behave. Talk about brainwashed. Might as well get rid of the City badge as well then on our shirts. As it represents us. But no...you want the team represented by it's fans behaviours..
  18. If you'd read my posts you'd understand I'm not ' outraged'. And you've proved my point. You aren't proud of the flag and that it represents us as a nation. What's even sadder...for every topic like this, people like you and others, get so wound up and triggered by other people who have minds of their own who express an opinion. You go out of your way to find examples and spout your hatred to anything considered nationalistic as Tory, media and culture war led. It's the likes of yourself that gets the most triggered. I dislike the Tories. It has nothing to do with politics. I feel sorry for people like you.
  19. Perhaps the England flag means nothing to you. But yes really. It's our national shirt and represents us. It's our flag. With your mentality it gives the go ahead to interfere with flags of other nations as well. Before you know it, all flags will be changed in colours. It's red white and blue FFS. And you describe everything that's wrong with this country, by bringing politics into it and mentioning culture wars. All people should be proud of the flag and it's colours. Regardless of politics and culture. Sadly anything like this is now seen as right wing and Tory driven. A ridiculous situation. Your statement is clearly made to provoke. Funnily it's Starmer asking Nike to re think. So you look a clown right now by saying it's Tory driven. Are you saying the left aren't proud of their flag?
  20. I don't think anyone is outraged anymore. It's just another case of rolling eyes at the drip drip drip of everyday standards dropping. Is it done by accident or by design. By design obviously. But for what reason? What are they trying achieve? Someone in the planning procedure did it for a reason. By changing the flag to different colours, to represent what? Would they do the same to say the US flag? A statement by that/those person/s as to the reason, would clear up any misunderstanding.
  21. I have no idea, apart from what's on the website. Let em be offended...it's not going to hurt them.
  22. ...and more. At the Gate May 12th. Only guns being sold are on Arsenal shirts. https://www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Bristol/Ashton-Gate-Stadium/The-Ultimate-Super-Sunday-Retro-football-convention/38069626/#tickets
  23. Anybody else go to see OMD at the Colston Hall? What a gig. Fantastic.
  24. Anyone is better than Dykes...even that kid that stuck his finger in one in Holland he's ******* useless imo.
  25. All I want to know is...what's a younger Dinosaur?
