simon uk
I'm just watching some football clips on YouTube, what are your best city goals you have ever seen, following the end of the season? The best for me has to be Maynard v qpr, with noble v palace, Murray v Oldham and the tony Thorpe header v rovers, and a dave seal rocket v stockport i think ranking very highly! Any others I have missed?
WTFiGO!?!
JET v the gas also remember a Tin Man lob in the mid nineties. Sure Scotty picked the ball up on the half way line and kicked ass 2003?
ballwinningcentrehalf
Leroy Lita away at Torquay. Volley from at least 30 yards. Probably more. Could barely make it out through the fog and it still looked incredible, which tells you what a strike it was.
Jesus
For importance, David Noble vs Crystal Palace

City1984
Nicky Maynard home to Newcastle wasn't bad. Torres scored a very similar goal the same weekend. Everyone outside of our club seem to be rubbing one out over Torres but not Maynard. And quiet right to as we all know football didn't exist outside of the premiershit. BRISTOL86
Sproule at home vs Southampton still makes me laugh. To this day I still expect him to run down the tunnel with it when I replay the goal in my head!
City1984
Sproule at home vs Southampton still makes me laugh. To this day I still expect him to run down the tunnel with it when I replay the goal in my head! Was just thinking exactly the same. Good old Ivan. Wasn't that his first game back after he sadly lost his baby?
ChippenhamRed
Didn't Sproule (or perhaps someone else) also score from a mazy run away at Leicester? I think Skuse scored a long range beauty in the same game.
E.J.Thribb
Maynard at QPR and home to Newcastle, Joe Bryan vs the Gash, David Howells with a screamer on his loan debut vs Port Vale, David Seal with a thunderbolt vs Bournemouth (or was it Bradford??) havanatopia
For the whole package; worth of goal monetarily, drama and when in the match has to be Christian Roberts v Hartlepool.. AG went beswerk. I cannot think of any goal coming close to that, all things considered, in relatively recent memory.
downendcity
Of any that I've seen live, then probably Leicester away. Sproule with an unbelievable individual goal followed by Scuse's 30 yard screamer. Of any City goals, then Maynard's at QPR would be up their with any goal by any player of any club anywhere in the world. If Messi had scored that goal we would still be hearing about it now. Carey 6
Maynard's v QPR was unreal, still never seen a goal like it. Sproule vs Leicester McCombe vs Hull Carey & Nobles vs Palace Adomah vs Portsmouth was it? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yDeBs4tD_pA1.40 in the video. I think it was a really good move if I remember rightly then Adomah dinked the keeper at the end.

BRISTOL86
Seem to remember a cracker from Jon Stead as well, at home on an evening KO. Can't for the life of me remember who it was against. It was at the East End end, so to speak.

One BCFC
JET vs Gas without question is my favourite goal it went in like an arrow.
Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Murray vs Oldham was probably the best.
Wanderingred
For individual technique, that Maynard goal at QPR was something else. I was right behind the goal and had the perfect view of it. We all went rather mental but too bad the goal meant nothing as we lost 2-1. So i'd put that as my 3rd favourite. Number 2, Murray vs Oldham and number 1, Roberts v Hartlepool. BCFC_Dan
Paul Agostino vs Bristol Rovers in 1996. I think the Luke Wilkshire goal was the best I've seen but that's been mentioned already.
Loco Rojo
Murray's long distance mazy run years ago against Oldham (i think). Was the best City goal i've ever had the joy to watch. Gets better ever year in my memory. Hard to beat. If only that goal was on YouTube
