Septic Peg
I've taken this from gaschat and I'm sure Marcus won't mind this being posted here, but himself and his wife Louise are running the London Marathon this year in aid of Rett UK, a charity that supports children and families affected by Rett syndrome, which is a rare but lifelong neurological condition. Please donate what you can. We might be rival fans but some things are bigger than football. We are football's family and we help one another where we can. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Marcus-Louise Can a mod please pin? Thanks. UK0wnag3
I hate to piggy back onto Marcus' thread, but I too am running the London Marathon... Sense is a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs, to enjoy more independent lives. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Rhys-Withenshawvmlm

hoxton casual
This syndrome is nothing like autism. It is has its own horrible, cruel symptoms. Does Marcus have a child with Rett? Whatever, well done to him and I will donate.
Septic Peg
49 minutes ago, BrightCiderLife said: I am a life-long City fan currently exiled in London. I've kept up my season ticket in the Dolman and still go to just about every home games. But living in London means the London away days are much easier for me to get to - but not Brentford away! On 1 April this year me and another City fan will be running from south east London to Griffin Park in time to watch the match. We are both running the London Marathon three weeks later so the 17 and a half mile run will be good training for us. To add some interest, we have decided to add a sporting twist to the run so we will start at the Valley, home of Charlton Athletic, as that is close by. Our run will then continue on past the Den in Millwall, then to the Oval in Kensington (where they play a funny old sport with a ball but no feet!), over the Thames to Chelsea (I'll pass the forum's regards to Wael if I see him watching his favourite team), then a quick sprint over to Craven Cottage (here's hoping this trip to the Cottage ends with 3 points like my last three) and then the home straight out to Brentford. We are both running the London Marathon for charity - I am doing it for the World Cancer Research Fund and my friend is running it (with his brother) for Sense. I've put links to our fundraising pages below and would kindly ask anyone who can, to help some fellow Reds make a difference and raise some money for two excellent causes. Donations are also welcome from our blue cousins - we know one of you has an extra £150k to get rid of quickly! All donations do make a difference and getting us closer to our fundraising targets makes the long tiring training runs pounding the polluted London roads that much better. If you see us on our run into Brentford, make sure you give us a cheer of encouragement! Always look on the BrightCiderLife Shared @BrightCiderLife with Marcus Stewart's info and @UK0wnag3 who are also running the marathon. Wish you all the luck in the world. TMWANG50
I'm also going to post a shameless plug on this thread as I'm running the London marathon for Bristol's Wallace & Gromit's Children's charity. Please give me a wave if you are in the area or have a look at my fundraising page for more details of a great charity and how to donate on the link below. I will certainly be gunning to beat Stewart's time as extra motivation on the day... https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Ritchie-Jackman1

CotswoldRed
Well done to all. It's bloody hard. I've run it three times and they were more painful than giving birth (cue abuse!).
