An interesting thread. I use to go with mates then started taking my sons, but they've all moved on now, Uni and other stuff, and I've moved away from Bristol (Not Far).  After reading this, I think I'll take my lazy butt down the gate next season, so no more excuses, as I do miss it.

When I moved to that there London in the mid 1990s I started going to games with the London Branch mob. Even though it has long since disbanded, and I am miles away, I am still in touch with the core of that group and still see them at games home and away. Oddly (or maybe not) only once in the intervening 20+ years have I seen them at something other than a City game.
