22A
OK, the Rugby League has started again. I've watched a few games on TV and the only thing of note is that in all televised games so far, the visitors have worn their change shirt. Salford play in red. For their trip to Wakefield, who play in white, Salford turned out in blue. Hull KR play in red & white hoops. For their trip to Leeds (blue & yellow), KR played in purple & black. I can only assume it's a marketing ploy so that supporters buy both the home & away shirts.
22A
The new wave of Political Correctness hasn't travelled North yet. At halftime today in the televised game, the RL fans at Castleford v Hull were treated to the sight of a female cheerleader troupe performing on the pitch with high kicks etc whilst wearing short skirts and crop tops. Here's a photo from the Tigers official site. They don't appear to be humiliated and demeaned too much do they?
