Guest fatherdougal
I got this off the Guardian football page which, interestingly enough is written by someone calling himself Scott Murray. I think, if I'd been a Leicester supporter I would have asked for my money back. Always good to see Manchester United get stuffed. Best that brings a tea to a veteran Burnley fans eye! Swindon lost two-nil away at relegation bound Bradford Park Avenue that day... Swindon did get promoted that season! A team that included Mike Summerbee and Roger Hunt... Oh to be of THAT generation. Boo.

Robbored
It just goes to show that the goals in 1963 were bigger than the ones used now. They always looked bigger to me - but I was only 8 at the time....
Guest fatherdougal
and how did we do on that day? On the upside we beat QPR 3-0 in front of 10,681. The downside was that the game was abandoned at half time due to fog.
