  1. Do you know, I’m starting to feel a bit sorry for the blue, bitter few who happen to co-populate our fair city....they try so hard to remain relevant and visible - they are straight on to Talksport when we beat Manchester United in a cup quarter final because the nation is apparently very interested in Darren from Patchway’s assertion: “Yeh but da Roverzzz take more fans to away games than da shit” - bless him...then they climbed all over the Man City forum when we played them in the cup semi final, spouting the same shite, while we quietly took 8,000 to Manchester in midweek... And all the while we have built a £45m stadium and have now had planning permission granted for a state of the art training ground...whilst they flounder like a fish out of water waiting for tents to be delivered as new stands to their ‘stadium’ - yes, tents...in 2018...their home ground is ridiculed by away fans whilst others wax lyrical about the palatial surroundings offered up by Ashton Gate...and all this after they fell for the guff that Wael spouted when he took them over ... so they carried him down Gloucester Road... They couldn’t take time to let it sink in and study what it actually meant, oh no, they took to Social Media channels to ridicule our club because they were instantly ‘much richer’ and indeed were now ‘the sixth richest club in England’ - they ridiculed the transfers out of Reid, Flint, Mags and Bryan, calling it a ‘mass exodus from Ashton Gate’ - while failing to acknowledge those deals gave us the best part of £25 million...meanwhile, our genuine billionaire owner nicked their best player for £300k and carried on making sure we had an amazing stadium and state of the art training facility - they will never admit that they are jealous and filled with envy, but they are, they just are...and I just feel a bit sorry for them....nah, bollox do I...!!

  6. Absolutely no truth in the rumour that James Dyson is buying the sags. Whilst Dyson's may suck, James Dyson is no sucker.

  15. How can you feel sorry for a set of numptys who did the premature ‘jig of delight’ on wycombes pitch as “the gas are staying up, and now you’re going to believe them” yet be relegated a week later, and the team staying up was.....you guessed it.....Wycombe

  16. Would have been, but Colin Daniels said he wouldn't be seen dead wearing it. So it was changed.

  17. Heres an idea, as they have a pop up temporary ground that could be put on the back of a couple of lorries why don't they tour the country like a travelling circus, just rack up at some park or field, play a game and move on to the next park. They know that their fans will turn up in their thousands wherever they are playing and would only upset the locals for one afternoon.

  19. I think that our self made billionaire owner may know what he's doing when it comes to finance. Shake the Lansdown Money Tree or Sheikh the Money Tree. Only one bears fruit.

  20. "To be honest, I don't think I can ever say that I have ever gone to watch Rovers to be entertained" This one knows.

  21. Predominantly greenbelt, and astronomical prices for development land around Saltford. Perhaps they mean somewhere around Hicks Gate. The obvious question being, what the **** does Bath RFC get out of such an arrangement apart from weekly rent which must be based upon a proportion of match day receipts and the squatters getting nothing by way of non match day revenue. Their owner doesn't need their leveraged contribution towards the build either. Bath also needs to consider a resurgent Bristol RFC and whether they might be better off consolidating in a 100% Bath area further east because I daresay a move from the city centre would lose them plenty of fans and if they expect to pick up the same or better numbers from Brislington Stockwood etc they should think again.

  22. I live in Trowbridge and if the Gas move in I'd have to sell up and move out!! Besides, any spare field around here is just developed for housing, I can't think of anywhere here that would be suitable for a Stadium. The local council are also anti-sport that's why Trowbridge Town F.C. dissapeared all those years ago...their old ground is now a housing estate!
