  2. We can all agree 2020 has been a year like no other any of us have experienced before, and with that has brought many added pressures to people at a time of year where suicide rates increase. Please, if you feel alone or are struggling, try to talk to someone. Life might not always feel like living and you may feel like you are at rock bottom, but the world is a much better place with you in it. Personally this site really helps me, I have really low and negative days but keeping in touch with the Bristol City family is a massive thing. If anyone ever feels alone, please reach out. You can message me, or one of the many other supportive posters on here, or even talk to someone. I won't divulge personal information but I can't thank those people enough that have picked up when I've been struggling and taken the time to message me. We come from all backgrounds, beliefs, age groups and football teams etc, but I believe everyone on here would look out for a friend in need. A few of the Bristol City social media accounts shared the below today. Hopefully it'll also appear on the official website too.

  3. You should have seen Dallaglio play - constantly offside at ruck and maul while simultaneously telling the ref how to ref. T w a t (not when playing for England though, obviously).

  5. I really enjoyed the game - Falcons are a very decent outfit and the Bears defended fantastically well to deny them they were on top. Held them up twice when they were over the line. Richards not particularly gracious in defeat either. Complaining that the spine of the team was missing. Pat Lam only mentioned how well his young forwards had done. Gulf in class there.

  6. My Sis lives in Adelaide so he will go and live with her when the time comes. She's going through it also as her husbands Mum is also in palliative care so is copping it from 2 directions, hence the reason I do what I can from here to assist. Spend most nights on the phone to Australia and its various medical departments who now know me on first name terms !! Also have 4 nephews there who are doing all they can to help. As for me this end I just need to get my Wife through her op on 7th Jan and then I am going on the rip for a week or so !! Then in Feb I go and arrange to have 2 knee replacements myself !!!! (Covid allowing). Lucky I have some good friends here who will help out if needed.

  10. Forgot to post this before for anyone interested. The Loose Head is well worth a follow on Twitter and a podcast listen. He's got several other high-profile coaches on for this series too:

  12. Increasingly finding it’s the rugby product as a whole than attracts me, the mutual respect between the ref and players, the clear and concise explanations by the ref of decisions, the lack of feigning injury, the absolute commitment by all players to the cause, even the commentary and expert opinions .... there’s a lot that football could learn. Struth if my (rugby addicted, sadly deceased) father could hear me now!

  13. You aren’t alone, even when they lose I enjoy watching Bristol more at the moment. Good win in the end, especially considering the front row struggles. Going to need to step it up massively for Exeter but hopefully with the positive tested players back we’ll be more competitive at set pieces. What a shame about that try as well! Glorious rugby

Thank u very much, again you will be sorely disappointed when we finally meet. thank you for the thought, been a tough time for everyone, keep smiling people , and always remember football fans are one big family who can listen and help no matter what the problem is. I have weirdly missed all of you, even the abusive ones ?and can’t wait for fans to return to football. deployed to Bristol city centre team so might catch up with some of you before football returns, keep safe everyone ?
