  1. For me the big decisions are - stick with Palmer even though we'll have less of the ball? - bring Semenyo back in? - play Adelakun? We have to decide if we're going to Norwich to be hard to beat or going to Norwich on the front foot. Tough decisions, the only thing you cam be sure about is whatever Holden goes for, if we lose lots of expert 'managers' on here will say they would have gone with the opposite
  2. It is not one game though, he came on v Pompey in midfield and did well and Derek McInnes played him in midfield on a number of occasions for Aberdeen. I would leave him in CDM for Norwich on Wednesday.
  3. Class act no doubt, Premiership class. Him and Kalas look rock solid.
  4. Credit to the club, the signing of goalscoring midfield dynamo Zak Vyner in the January window has been brilliant business.
  5. Bloody hell mate, every club in the land could make a long list of injuries if they go back 20 years! We should focus on what has gone wrong in the last 12 months, in that time I've never known an injury list like it and no other club has been as badly affected as us so not all down to covid etc
  6. Wycombe are in the Championship so don't enter until the Third Round.
  7. It is smoke coming from his exhaust, once that is fixed he should be back.
  8. Sheffield Wednesday appearing at the Minimal Stadium soon.
  9. Yes, Liverpool at home is certain to attract a full gate for our first game back in the top flight for 40 years
  10. Spot on, kalas has done a great job with various partners in various formations. Get the bloke in a settled back line with our first choice defenders and you have one of the very best stoppers in the championship without doubt.
  11. Is that the one with the husky voice you call at 1am?
  12. I like your optimism Alex but I fear that any global event in the next 6 months will need to be cancelled or played behind closed doors. The virus is still ripping through large parts of the world and it is not as if with huge events like this you can make a decision last minute. I'd imagine unless there is significant progress driving down case numbers and vaccinating huge swathes of Europe by March (something I'm very pessimistic about) it will be called.
  13. Absolute nonsense and you know it. Lots of season ticket holders purchase their tickets later than March for a whole host of reasons. You can't honestly have believed that the figure would have stayed at 12,000 if it wasn't for covid???
  14. Be fair, you were buying a season ticket based on the fact you might get access to 20% of the games max. I think 12,000 is an unbelievable figure in the circumstances. The point I was making is after every poor display or run of defeats for as long as I can remember people come on the City forum (oh the Irony) to say how much they are not interested in City anymore and that they won't be getting a ST. At the same time our attendances are at a 40 year high. Clearly the vast majority (not all I accept) are just attention seekers/fans who are up and down like yo yos/liars (delete as appropriate).
  15. He said his first three games all ended 0-0 Chelsea v QPR then City v Portsmouth then Gas v Vale
  16. I'm just making the point, just like 'that was the worst game I've ever seen at Ashton Gate' and 'me and all 750 of my City supporting mates will not return to AG until the manager is gone' these comments get said every season and last season we had our highest average gates for 40 years so clearly lots of people are talking pony, maybe not you of course.
  17. Every year pony like this gets posted and every year our season ticket sales increase! Funny that, I wonder if some people are attention seeking and claim to not want a ST after back to back defeats, but as soon as we win a couple all is alright with the world,.
  18. Well all the 'experts' are saying the same thing, City have been affected to a greater extent than any other club. They were making exactly that point on sky only yesterday
  19. I'm going to buck the trend, 6th. We are close to 6th as it is with a skeleton squad, a manager still learning the ropes, no fans in AG etc. 2021 will see the return of some huge players and underperforming players that have been flogged to death will improve with the competition and chances for breathers. I still think top six, you heard it here first !
  20. You seriously think that losing 10 first team players is a terrible excuse!!! If you take 10 players from any other Championship team they would start heading down the table, it is ridiculous to suggest otherwise.
  21. No other team in the Championship has lost close to the number of first team players we have lost, for the time periods we have lost them, fact.
  22. I've voted no because I'm in South Gloucestershire, but if I could and it was safe why wouldn't a supporter want to support their team? COYR
  23. Love this from the guy on the City forum typing an opinion. Then liked by others also on the City forum whilst having 'lost all interest'
