  5. I see him as the most exciting signing of this window for City, and potentially a valid replacement for Scott. It seems that the club is doing good business: young players who already have experience (McCrorie & Roberts), a defender who showed his quality in the division not long ago (Dickie), the confirmation of King as a useful emergency solution (and a positive figure in the dressing room) and Knight. Not much to complain about the departures too: Massengo was out of the project, Dasilva a reserve on paper...whereas we couldn't see enough of Wilson to judge him; at the moment, only Kalas leaving could be a loss for the team, both as a leader and a gifted - but recently too much injured - defender.

  7. On paper not a bad start of the season, whereas February look particularly tough.
  8. Scott to Inter, eh? ? I' d be surprised if there was some truth in it: despite all the money gained in Champions League rounds, it seems that Suning won't spend much during this transfer window, and if one midfielder will go away (Brozovic seems the more likely to be sold), I guess the replacement would be another expert player/a player who already knows the league and would cost less (ex: money + fringe/young Inter players instead of money alone). That being said, you never know... Surely it would be a prestigious but also brave move for him.
  9. Great performance from Inter, a bit unlucky too in the second half: it wasn't enough, but I'm really PROUD of the Nerazzurri! ?? Congratulations to Man City.
  10. Impressive Man City so far. ?
  11. Good summary. ?? Spalletti brought Inter back in Champions League after many years of struggles (mainly due to huge financial problems), but the club decided to replace him with Conte and spent heavily in the market, so with a far better squad he was able to win the league in his second year. Then a mix of FFP, pandemic effect and other things forced the club to reshape the squad (losing key players, replaced by good - but weaker - ones), Conte ran away, and Inzaghi was chosen to try to maintain Inter competitive. Well, he did it. Last season Inter won Italian cup and supercup, challenged AC Milan in the league until the end and passed CL's group stage; during the summer some high-earners were released (Vidal, Sanchez, Perisic) and replaced mainly with loans and free agents. This season the team couldn't compete with Napoli but won the Italian supercup, reached again the Italian cup final and now - incredibly - the Champions League one too, despite injuries to key players (Lukaku and Brozovic out for months, then Skriniar out too, etc.), a few out-of-form players in some moments and not many reliable reserves (experienced players like Mkhitaryan, Acerbi and Dzeko had to play a lot of games and have been superb, but the likes of Gagliardini, Correa & co. can't offer much). Lately we've been in very good form and did better in the league (qualification for the next CL is now closer), so I hope we can keep this form until the end of the season. ?
  12. If he's fit and has a real desire to play again with City's shirt...I say Yes.
  13. Not a great game (more lively in the first half), but a second win that deservedly sends Inter to an historic Champions League final. ?? A final where the winner of the other semifinal will surely be clear favourite, but in football you never know...
  14. Good first leg for Inter: great first half, less positive second half (even because AC Milan grew into the game), but overall a good performance and a deserved win. Leao a big absence for them. Good refereeing too: no penalty (neither a dive, simply a soft contact), balanced use of bookings. I hope to see more of the same in the second leg. ?
  15. A good way to finish the season: well done, lads! In August I predicted 14th place for City ? : a nice achievement, that with better refereeings and less injuries could have been a Top10. Hopefully we'll be battling for it next season. COYR!
  16. One of the club's best signings. Great footballer and he always gives 100% on the pitch.
  17. Delighted for him: a reward for his performances and attitude,
  18. We got less than we deserved against Reading and Watford, so I'm glad that today we took all three points. Good job, lads! ? 2 battles left: a really tough game against Burnley (even a draw would be great) and then QPR away (winnable on paper, despite their surprising result today). COYR!
  19. After the penalties given against Hull and Sunderland , the irritating refereeings trend restarted. Angry but not surprised...
