  1. Not a fan of the new home kit (most of our recent ones were better IMO), but I guess the club made this surprising choice for a valid reason so...
  2. The curse of ACL strikes again: Afobe, Mawson, K.Smith, Weimann, Benarous... ? Gutted for Rob.
  3. Credit to you, Gavin. Could you explain to your colleagues that giving us penalties is not a bad thing?
  4. Really unlucky. Today Kalas did well but Rob will be missed, in both areas. I guess Nigel will use King or Tanner (with Wilson back soon) as reserve CB, looking at free agents only in case of further injuries.
  5. Midfield was impressive, especially considering that the trio has to play almost every game due to lack of reliable substitutes.
  6. FINALLY a glimpse of justice! It won't change all the damage done, it surely doesn't explain why it took so long to break this nonsense anomaly (so the suspects are still fully open)...but at least it gives us the hope to see a change in the next future, with less errors but most of all more respect for our team. A penalty. I still can't believe it happened!
  7. I'm SHOCKED! ? First time in three seasons that I have to apologize with a referee (sorry man, you're my hero! ? ). Overall the least we deserved was a draw, so well done lads, (especially Nahki, my second hero! ? ).
  8. Positive performance so far: City played better for 35 minutes and had some good chances (unlucky Mehmeti!), strong end of half by Sunderland. Shame about Rob's injury (a bad one I fear) and no surprise for the umpteenth penalty not given - soft or not - by another cheater.
  9. Shame we didn't win, but overall the result is fair: we were the best team in the 2nd half despite conceding a poor goal, but they had some chances too so at the end a point is OK.
  10. Even first half: more possession from City, attacking threats from both sides but few clear chances. Quality assist by Mehmeti for Rob's goal, some good moves by Scott and Cornick, defensive positioning not perfect here and there, a bit lucky at the end of the half (crossbar).
  11. My first and favourite City manager. He did a great job and was unlucky to miss promotion in the awesome 2007/08 season. Fully deserved recognition.
  12. Nervy end of game but WE DID IT! Outstanding performance, superb result. Every single player and Nigel deserve credit but my Men OTM today are Tanner (his best performance with City's shirt) and Pring. COYR!!
  13. Great first half from the lads: solid behind, organized in midfield and quite dangerous in attack. Good play for the goal too.
  14. I guess we still are: too soon to think we're safe. That being said, signs are good so now we can be more optimistic.
  15. Phew! A much needed win, in a stadium where we often get nothing. Good job, ladsss!
  16. Martin turned out to be a good signing, Klose was less involved but still useful, so...credit to them.
  17. Maybe they couldn't sign the replacement they wanted?
  18. Not sure about the English meaning, but to me forward sound more like striker/winger, whereas an attacking midfielder doesn't have necessarily to play in attack (ex: Brownhill played in midfield but had an attacking predisposition)
  19. The OS say "forward", but other sources - included Wycombe's site - describe him as an attacking midfielder...so maybe he's more an alternative to Sykes/Weimann than Semenyo's replacement (Cornick?)?
