  1. WBA in good form, so losing today could mean two defeats in a row... ?
  2. Cruel end for England's cup run: the Three Lions deserved to win, but it didn't happen. Gutted. ?
  3. So undeserved... The traditional English bad luck. ?
  4. Maybe better than usual (no penalty claims, etc.), but he still ignored many fouls - included 2 or 3 nasty ones - on our players and gave us more yellow cards despite doing less - and lighter - fouls than them. Anyway, the most important thing is that we got a win and favourable results in the other matches.
  5. Three golden points: well done, Robins! ? Second half IMO was quite good, except the last minutes, when we could have conceded a dangerous second goal: overall the team looked tidy and the lads didn't get nervous about the unbalanced refereeing (not a surprise, eh?). Many good performances, but our best players for me were Conway, Naismith (despite his part of fault in Millers goal) and O'Leary.
  6. Nota a bad first half for us, considering that we haven't played for a while: defence looked shaky at times, but some of our attacks were quite good, and Conway is creating problems to their defence.
  7. Bentley seems to be on the transfer list like Massengo, Kalas still unavailable, question marks about Klose and Weimann (rumoured to have suffered an injury with Austria, right?), Martin out of favour, not sure about Tanner's availability (red card), so.... O' Leary, Vyner, Naismith, Atkinson, Sykes, James, Williams, Pring, Scott, Wells, Conway. Subs: Bentley, Dasilva, Klose (?), King, Massengo, Semenyo, Weimannn (?) or Martin.
  8. I guess that ref being from Yorkshire, London or Newcastle won't change much: no penalties for us and no cards for rude opponents are guaranteed! ?
  9. Any chance of cloning him and bringing his versions in the Championship to replace the current scum? ? Good luck against France. Great game.
  10. Shame that Antoine couldn't play more minutes ? ...but at least he didn't get injured. ?
  11. Shit draw, as usual! ? Well, we have to focus on the league, so...
  12. That penalty would have probably made us win but...that's how things go for us. ? That being said, I'd have taken a draw before the game, the performance was positive so...well done, lads!
  13. Until the club will remain silent instead of asking questions to RA and EFL, nothing will change. But it seems that it's all OK, that many supporters are happy with referees disrespecting our players, so... ? Pessimistic about the second half, but hope to be proved wrong.
  14. City playing quite well and referee refusing to give clear penalties or cards in our favour. It happens too often...and usually we lose points, points that could be vital to avoid relegation If Mr. Lansdown, Mr.Gould and co. are happy with us being cheated...
  15. Honestly tonight I was more interested in Championship results than ours but...performing so badly against a lower league club is not encourageing. Bad night at 360°: let's hope Saturday will be better.
  16. I was reading the match report on the OS and.... Semenyo blazed his shit over the bar under pressure. ?
  17. I was hoping for a win, but the game proved to be more difficult than I expected, so a point is OK. Shame that we couldn't get more points in the two previous games despite decent performances: 5 or 7 points instead of only 2 would have made the table less worrying.
  18. Makes it more frustrating that we could have gained three huge points against a strong team if they weren't helped by the referee. I bet that in similar conditions (Blades playing not at their best) other teams won't have to face that "handicap" and they'll get precious points.
  19. You're wrong: we lost some games mainly because of the refs, and saying it doesn't make a supporter less objective. Blades did almost nothing and had one player saved from a red, one goal saved by a foul/offside and one penalty claim ignored (soft or not it remains a crucial call). Playing badly and making mistakes can still make you win if the key decisions go against the other team; the way you play doesn't justify unbalanced refereeings. If we had scored in the first half and then be punished by two joke penalties for them (realistic possibility), would it be still City's fault? Gift us a joke penalty in the first 10 minutes against Birmingham, Reading etc. and then let's see what happens in those matches... You could be a rock in defence and still be punished with a joke penalty, being more clinical but seeing a goal ruled out for an offside that doesn't exist, etc Team and manager have to try their best to beat their opponents, but can't control refereeings...and too many supporters forget this simple thing.
