Yup, some poor girl on minimum wage making ends meet - he sure showed her. Wael - I think they will sell the club, but keep the stadium and training facilities. They can rent it as a venue, rent it to UWE and rent it to Rovers. That would give them a good return on investment without saddling themselves with the loss making part - the actual football club (unless you get to the Premiership the game is a loss making endeavour) - there is nothing the club would be able to do about it either.

I don't think you can fault them for their back to back promotions and their performance this season, especially when they have spent hardly anything. But that does not prevent us getting amusement from the comedy prone club/fans.

nice list missing the Sainsburys legal case based on the "watertight contract" and the gas thread for Bristol City relegation party that got huge, but ooops we pulled things around and they tried to hide the thread (think Tomarse copied / archived it for us).

When their current badge was done they were not to happy (though the previous one was crap as well). Just goes to show (like our purple and lime kit) how little time it takes for some things to become routed in a clubs history.

I had heard it was leasing - UWE cannot sale the land as if was gifted to them with restrictive covenants. Wael wants to purchase the land as he does not want to build Rovers stadium on something they don't own. There is what you might call creative processes going on as to how you can sale something to someone without it being considered a sale - and how the new owners can actually be owners when these covenants exist. But that could have just be hearsay - it's hard to know with so much white noise around.

Still think SL should approach UWE and say "if your deal with Rovers does fall through, then Bristol sports would step in and build a indoor athletics arena there" I think UWE would get a lot more out of that, Tennis, Badminton, athletics, Gymnastics (our locals have to travel to Plymouth to train for national level) indoor tracks, basketball, handball, netball, large seating indoor venue for music / lectures / exhibitions, they would get a hell of a lot more use and income for it than football stadium - as well as Bristol / the area needing a facility like that a lot more than another footie stadium.

A real six pointer today, if we lose then they Wigan leap frog us - games we need to go our way, even then Wolves had 2 games in hand and Blackburn one game in hand on us. Wolves v Rotherham wolves to lose Norwich v Blackburn Blackburn to lose if they don't go our way things will look a little bleak this evening,

It's a rare nice sunny day (not seen many of those lately), crisp air, the type of day I would normally be happy and really look forward to going down to AG - a pre-match football morning all before the pre-match build up and going to watch your favourite team, it should be a exciting perfect morning - instead it feels like a chore, I don't know if we will win or lose (really hope we win as this is a huge 6 pointer and I don't want us in the relegation spots at the end of the day) but regardless I know I won't be seeing any real football today win or lose, and will find myself still thinking this evening mehhh what a crap season.
