So the (self) highly esteemed Brian Tinnion has been with us for 30 years. Reminds me of lyrics from a popular song. ”Thirty years of hurt Never stopped me dreaming”

Manning is learning on the job (though, from what I’ve seen, he’s a very slow learner). Anyway, for those who may be concerned about hearing this startling revelation, the good, and reassuring news is that Uncle Brian is his teacher. Yes, the same bumbling, incompetent Brian that has in 30 years learnt absolutely bugger all worth knowing or sharing. Apart from back-stabbing, sycophancy and alienating the fan-base through lies and his self-aggrandisement.

She’d probably do a lot better, as she clearly knows when something’s brewing, but she’s definitely not Lansdown’s cup of tea.

Do you mean whining about Manning?
-
Which reminds me. To the moronic Fewers who've recently been creaming themselves over the possibility of playing us next season. Mind the Gap !

Hate to point out the obvious, but you're a poster too, Irrespective of the football ? Do you reckon this forum would be "so negative and poisoned" if the football served up was entertaining and we won more games ?

Cardiff - Ohhh ! Dowda Ipswich -Oww ! Dowda

Defeat to Swansea this weekend, and it could be (should be) Manning's swansong. If ever there was a "must win", this is it. No excuses. No if's, no but's or maybe's.

Yeah, for sure. And if Manning really believes that, he may as well pack up and clock off once any game has started. What a bloody stupid thing to admit, and saying so out loud too ! And boy, does he like having his ego stroked by all the (fake and insincere) compliments from the likes of McKenna and, allegedly, others? Does Manning honestly believe McKenna would have sung his/the team's praises if we had beaten them ?

Manning's under development, he needs more time

I think you might have missed one. (psst! I'm only posting this to drive him mad whilst he's trying to find it). -
Darn you ! Sounds like you've got the needle. Sew, why not start another thread? You'll have people in stitches.

That’s a Secret, Sam.

The sooner we appoint Whom, the better. At least we know Bell will toll for him. But he'll probably be snapped up to replace Moyes at West Whom.

Fully agree, particularly your point about the players being a honest, hard working and together. Manning's so-called "front foot football" has taken us backwards. I don't believe he knows what that style of football looks like, or how to implement it.

He most certainly has . .. . Bulls**tology.

Has a certain someone been a naughty boy? Right ! That's (a top) six (squad) of the best for you ! -
To which LAIm (sic) Manning replied "That does not compute !" Manning would even stuggle to intimidate a spineless wimp like Dr Zachary Smith, who must have been a Bristol City fan, based on his constant reciting of "Oh the pain, the pain !" Some ancient members of this forum will understand this nonsense.

Manning suggesting he might lose his temper, brings to mind the idiom "hold my beer".

Bit harsh. If you're naming Tinnion, why the pseudonyms for Steve and Jon?- 1236 replies
