  1. is afobe related to Wayne allison at all? absolute spit in my eyes
  2. Better than Diedhiou. Welcome Afobe.
  3. We felt that it would be funny to see the reactions of the fanbase on OTIB with the promises we gave to the fans.
  4. Well no clearly it doesnt help by us playing that way. However, this has been ongoing since January 2018 with Fam. His ball control is up there with the worst I have seen, he does not ever come short to receive a ball, always relying on being on the last man. He massively disrupts the way we olay, using him as an excuse to hit it long. Still no idea why we sold Djuric, who had better ball control and could actually hold the ball ip. But feel free to argue as I know that's an out there opinion but Djuric is a better footballer than Diedhiou.
  5. Of course every nation definitely all speak 5 different languages. I dont agree with that. Just ask the French.
  6. He was a good player. 5 different languages takes some skill and will be good when negotiating deals with players.
  7. In 1998 he would be in team A with Ronaldo up front. So yeah for a time he was world class. Finishing wise, one of the best of that era for sure
  8. Suker definitely was world class. His international goalscoring record is extremely impressive.
  9. We were 18th when he was sacked and playing god awful football including a 6-0 defeat to Cardiff. He contributed to a lot of the damage that happened in the seasons after by signing poor players on long contracts we couldnt shift. It was a good decision to sack him but the strangest thing that happened was Steve Coppell who followed and the whole fiasco around David James.
  10. I think Southgate was expert at managing the pfess and media side of things, hence the undying love last Summer people dished out for him. However, when being realistic we beat teams we should be beating but when we come up against any good opposition, we lose. Dier shouldnt be anywhere near the England team, Foden should be there or Maddison and Boothroyd decides Foden cant even get in his team. We genuinely do have some good youth players coming through, but I fear it will be another waste due to mis management.
  11. Boothroyd a man who played football for Bristol Rovers, was Manager of Watford who played shchocking football under him and was sacked bu Colchester. That's our U21 manager. Laughable really. England seem obsessed with this pure possession based game when it should be about passing with a purpose to score goals and playing at a high tempo. Yet again we are copying models of teams that are now out of date, i.e Spain and Barcelona of the early 2010's. Sorry but I also question whether Southgate is up to much really. We have good players, use them properly or it will be another false dawn.
  12. Certainly the greatest of all time on clay but overall it has to be Federer.
  13. Returned to a side just promoted from L2 into L1 when he could have stayed with us and may have been the difference between 3rd and 2nd in 2002/03 and even 2003/04. I think it was a bad move for both us and Thorpe.
