  4. Good friend of mine died in March. Argyle fan, glad they gone up for Birdie and his son. we went to Many City V Plymouth games together . RIP tone.
  5. Manc are now dominating like Manu were under Ferguson. All went tits up for them when he let the last side he built get to old. Cant see that happening with Pep. The only chance the pretenders have is if Pep gets bored and ***** off. If he stays for another 5 or 10 years thats how long they will dominate. I love the way they play and the longer Manu stay off the top suits me fine.
  6. Gota say the disappointment comes through loud and clear.
  7. Don't know about Garland, but my first game at the Gate saw Merrick captaining England school boys against Wales.
  8. True, but i fancy him to turn Lisowski over at even money. Jack to loose, can't see him having the concentration to beat Magill.

  12. Now is the time...Jimmy James and the Vagabonds.
  13. Truro ever going to get their own ground? Seem to remember a stadium was on the cards for them and Cornish Pirates . Who's putting the money in ? They get crowds of 150 at Parkway with the hosts getting triple that. Hard to see how that's sustainable. On a side note Totton who are coming up to the Premier league this season are getting over 1,000 ever home game. Some crowd that at the level.
  14. Sweet baby James ..,James Taylor.
  15. What can you say enjoyed listening to him. Just comes across as a bloke you would love to have a beer with while talking football.
  16. The Hawthorns was the first ground i heard the Liquidator played, back in the days of Brown and Astle.
  17. Take it you have never sat next to pillred?
  18. Cracking game of football that a fair result in the end. So impressed with Tanner looks like he's turning into some player. Funniest bit of the night was a guy in the same row as us in the Lansdown having a total meltdown when Boro had the goal ruled out, he had no ideal the flag had gone up i thought he was going to rip his seat out. Still he managed a smile through his embarrassment in the end. Anyway well played City this club is definitely on the up.
